Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves for every child. We use professional-grade spray paint, but we conduct the workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specialized indoor spaces. Our instructors are experienced in working with children and ensure everyone follows the safety rules while having a blast. It’s all the fun of 'vandalism' without any of the actual trouble!

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

We recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 years old for our Kolding workshops. At this age, children usually have enough hand strength to press the spray caps and the focus to follow the creative instructions. For younger siblings, we often bring along smaller canvases or markers so they can still feel like part of the street art crew without using the heavy spray cans!

What should the kids wear to the workshop?

Wear clothes that you don't mind getting a little 'artistic'! While we provide full-body protective suits, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto shoes or sleeves. We suggest old trainers and comfortable play clothes. If it’s a bit chilly in Kolding, layers are great because the kids will be moving around a lot as they paint their masterpieces.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

Don't worry about the Danish weather! In Kolding, we have access to several indoor locations and sheltered spots. If the forecast looks particularly rainy, we can usually move the party to a covered area or use an indoor studio space. We monitor the weather closely and will always coordinate with you to ensure the party goes ahead in a dry, comfortable environment.

How long does a typical kids party last?

A standard graffiti kids party in Kolding lasts about 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a fun introduction, some practice runs on the 'practice wall', and then the main event where they create their final masterpieces. It’s the perfect amount of time to keep their energy levels high and their focus sharp without them getting too tired.

Do the kids get to keep their artwork?

One of the best parts is that everyone gets to take their art home! Each child creates their own unique work on a high-quality canvas or a wooden panel. By the end of the session, the paint is usually dry enough to be transported. These make for much cooler 'party bags' than a plastic toy and some sweets – it’s a real piece of art for their bedroom wall!

Do I need to pay a deposit in advance?

No way! We believe the birthday boy or girl should have a stress-free day. We don't require any upfront payment or deposits for our Kolding workshops. You simply pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. This keeps things flexible for parents and shows how confident we are that the kids will have the best time ever.

🎉 100% Fun guaranteed: Our artists are entertainers at heart who know how to keep a group of kids engaged.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Our professional artist meets the crew at the Kolding location and gets everyone hyped up with some cool street art history.
Safety first: Every mini-artist gets geared up in protective suits, gloves, and masks. We explain how to use the cans safely and responsibly.
Mastering the nozzle: We start with a practice session. The kids learn how to control the spray, make thin lines, thick dots, and cool gradients.
Sketching the vision: Using markers or light spray, the kids outline their main design on their individual canvases.
Adding the 'flavour': This is where the colour happens! Kids choose their favourite shades and start filling in their unique graffiti pieces.
The final outline: Our artists help the children with the final 'power-lines' to make their artwork really pop and look professional.
Gallery walk: We line up all the creations for a big group photo—the perfect memory of the best birthday party in Kolding!

Local culture

Kolding is a city that breathes a mix of history and modern design, from the stunning Koldinghus to the creative vibes at the Trapholt Museum. Our workshops tap into this local artistic spirit! We often host sessions near the vibrant city centre or in the leafy parks surrounding the Slotssøen. Kolding’s youth culture is growing, and we love bringing a bit of urban edge to the Jutland region. 🇩🇰
