What kind of surfaces can you paint on during the event?

Absolutely! The beauty of live painting in Kolding is that we can work on various surfaces. We can set up temporary wooden walls, use large canvases, or even paint directly onto a vehicle or a structure provided by you. If you are worried about the mess, don't be! We use floor protection and low-odour paints where necessary to ensure the venue stays clean while the art takes shape.

Can we choose the design or theme beforehand?

It’s totally up to you! Many Kolding brands choose to have their logo or event theme integrated into the mural. Alternatively, you can give our artist creative freedom to produce something inspired by the energy of the crowd. We usually discuss the concept, colour palette, and 'vibe' with you a few weeks before the event to ensure the final masterpiece aligns perfectly with your vision.

How long does a live painting session usually take?

A typical live painting performance in Kolding lasts between 2 to 5 hours, depending on the scale of the artwork. We can time the progress so that the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it to—perhaps during a keynote speech or the peak of a party. The speed of the artist creates a rhythmic flow that keeps guests coming back to check the progress.

Do you provide all the necessary materials and equipment?

Yes, we take care of everything! Our team brings the spray cans, acrylics, protective floor coverings, and the painting surface itself. We also provide professional lighting if the area is a bit dark, ensuring the artwork is the star of the show. You just need to provide the space and a crowd ready to be entertained. We make the logistics completely stress-free for you.

Can my guests participate in the painting process?

While the artist is the main attraction, we love making it interactive! In Kolding, we often offer a 'hybrid' model where guests can add a small 'tag' or a spray stroke under professional guidance. It’s a fantastic icebreaker and makes people feel like they are part of the creative process. If you prefer a pure performance where the artist works alone, we can do that too!

What kind of events is live painting best suited for?

Graffiti live painting is incredibly versatile. It works wonders for corporate brand activations, local Kolding festivals, product launches, or even high-end weddings and bachelor parties. If you want to create a 'wow factor' and give people something to talk about (and photograph!), live art is the way to go. It transforms a standard gathering into a memorable visual experience.

How far in advance should I book an artist in Kolding?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekend events in Kolding. However, thanks to our large network of professional artists and our backup artist system, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. Even if your event is only a couple of weeks away, reach out to us! We’ll do our absolute best to ensure a top-tier artist is ready to perform at your venue.

Local culture

Kolding is a city that breathes design and history, from the iconic Koldinghus to the innovative Kolding School of Design. This creative DNA makes it the perfect stage for live graffiti art. We love the contrast of modern, edgy street art against the backdrop of Kolding’s historical architecture. The local community has a deep appreciation for the "Design City" spirit, and our live painting sessions tap directly into that local pride. Whether we’re performing near the Slotssøen or at a modern venue in the city centre, the energy of Kolding always inspires our artists to push their creative boundaries.

Fun Fact! Did you know Kolding is an official UNESCO Creative City? It’s part of a global network that uses design to drive sustainable urban development. No wonder the locals love seeing live art in action! 🎨
