Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep those school uniforms clean. Our professional artists are trained in workshop safety and provide a comprehensive briefing before any spray cans are touched. We use low-odour, professional-grade paints and always ensure the workspace is well-ventilated or outdoors to keep the air fresh and safe for the children.

Do the students need any prior drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are specifically designed for beginners. We focus on the fun and the process of creation rather than technical perfection. Our artists guide the students through every step, from shaking the can to creating their first 'tag' and filling in shapes. We find that children who think they aren't 'artsy' often discover a hidden talent and gain a huge confidence boost through our accessible teaching methods.

Where in Kolding do the workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! If your school in Kolding has a suitable outdoor wall or a large paved area, we can come directly to you. If not, we can arrange a session at a local legal graffiti spot or bring large mobile wooden canvases that we set up on your school grounds. These canvases can even stay at the school afterwards as a permanent piece of collective student art for your hallways!

What materials are included in the workshop price?

Everything is covered! We provide professional spray paint in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (suits, gloves, and masks), and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring caps (the nozzles that control the spray), sketches for inspiration, and cleaning materials. All we need from the school is a group of excited students and a space to work. It’s a complete 'plug and play' creative experience for your classroom.

What happens if it rains on the day of our Kolding workshop?

In Denmark, weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got it covered! If it rains, we can move the workshop under a canopy or use indoor-safe methods if a large, ventilated space like a gym hall is available. Alternatively, we can use our mobile canvases in a sheltered area. We always have backup plans and backup artists ready to ensure your school event goes ahead exactly as planned, rain or shine.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

Our standard workshops for primary schools typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a safety demo, a history lesson on street art, practice sessions, and the creation of a final masterpiece. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your school’s lesson blocks or transform it into a full 'Creative Day' project if you want a deeper dive into the art form.

How does the payment process work for Denmark schools?

We believe in the quality of our workshops so much that we don't require any upfront payment. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. We offer easy invoicing for schools in Kolding, making the administrative side of things as simple as possible so you can focus on the students' creative journey.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students? It’s more than just paint on a wall—it’s an educational experience that sticks with them forever. Our workshops are designed to be the highlight of the school year! 🚀

Boosts confidence: Watch as even the shyest students find their voice through bold colours and big shapes.
Stress-free for teachers: We handle everything—from set-up to clean-up—so you can enjoy the day alongside your pupils. ☕
Encourages collaboration: Creating a large mural requires communication, planning, and teamwork.
Zero risk: With our 'pay after' policy and backup artist guarantee, your school's event is in the safest hands in Denmark.
Physical & creative: It’s a great way to get kids moving and thinking outside the traditional classroom box. 🔥
Authentic experience: Our artists are active in the street art scene, giving kids a real-world perspective on modern art.

Step by step

Introduction & inspiration: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of graffiti and show some amazing examples of street art from Denmark and beyond.
Safety first: Every student gets geared up in protective suits, gloves, and masks while we explain how to use the equipment responsibly.
Mastering the can: We teach the kids the basics: how to hold the spray can, how to control the pressure, and how to create different line widths.
Sketching the vision: Before hitting the wall, students practice their designs on paper, learning about letter structures and 'cool' colour combinations.
First lines: Under the guidance of our pros, the children start their 'outlines' on the canvas or wall, bringing their sketches to life in a large format.
The fill-in: This is where the magic happens! The students use vibrant colours to fill in their pieces, learning techniques like gradients and 'fading'.
Adding the details: We teach them how to add 'highlights', '3D effects', and that final 'powerline' that makes the artwork pop.
Group masterpiece: Usually, the session ends with a collaborative effort where the whole group contributes to one massive, colourful mural.
The big reveal: We finish with a group photo and a 'show and tell' session where the kids can be proud of what they’ve built together!
