Is the graffiti workshop safe for people with respiratory sensitivities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respiratory masks, protective overalls, and gloves to all participants. Our professional instructors in Kolding are experienced in supervising groups with various needs, ensuring that the spray cans are used correctly and everyone stays in a well-ventilated, safe environment throughout the entire creative process.

Can you accommodate participants with physical or cognitive disabilities?

We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether you are hosting a group with physical disabilities, neurodivergency, or learning difficulties, our artists adapt their teaching style to match. We can adjust the height of the canvases, use easier-to-press spray nozzles, and provide extra one-on-one guidance to ensure every participant in Kolding feels successful and included.

Do participants need any prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the very basics—how to hold the can and control the pressure. Our Kolding-based artists are experts at breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, manageable steps that anyone can follow, regardless of their prior artistic experience or skill level.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide full-body protective suits, sometimes a little 'creative splash' can find its way onto shoes or sleeves. It’s all part of the authentic artist experience! We’ll take care of all the professional gear like masks and gloves.

Can the workshop take place at our own facility in Kolding?

We offer total flexibility for your convenience. We can host the event at one of our vibrant local partner spots in Kolding, or we can bring the entire 'graffiti studio' to your location. If you have an outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area at your facility, our team will set up plastic protection and mobile walls to bring the art to you.

How much does a special needs graffiti workshop cost?

Pricing typically ranges between 200 kr and 450 kr per person. This varies based on the total number of participants, the duration of the session, and whether we are coming to your location or using our own. We aim to keep our special needs programs accessible and high-value, so we always recommend requesting a custom quote for the best rate.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard therapeutic workshop usually lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. We find this is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining engagement and energy without causing fatigue. However, we are happy to adjust the timing to fit the specific attention spans or scheduling needs of your group. Just let us know what works best for your participants!

The experience

Why choose our graffiti program for your group in Kolding? It’s not just about painting; it’s about confidence, sensory exploration, and having a blast! ✨

Tactile & Sensory: The sound of the rattle, the feel of the spray, and the vibrant colours provide a rich sensory experience that traditional painting can't match. 🔥
Boosts Confidence: Seeing a giant, colourful mural completed by your own hands provides an immediate and powerful sense of pride and achievement. 🏆
Adaptive Techniques: From oversized caps for easy spraying to adjustable easel heights, we customise the tools to the artist. 🛠️
Professional Staff: Our Kolding team aren't just great artists; they are patient, kind, and experienced in fostering a supportive atmosphere. 🤝
No Pressure: There are no 'wrong' lines in graffiti. This low-stress environment is perfect for participants who may feel intimidated by structured art tasks. 🎉
Social Connection: Working together on a collaborative wall helps build social bonds and communication skills in a natural, fun way. 🎤

Step by step

Initial consultation: We chat about your group's specific requirements, sensory needs, and the size of the team to ensure we prepare the perfect environment.
Site selection: Choose between our local Kolding street art spots or let us bring the mobile graffiti walls to your location.
Safety briefing & gear-up: Everyone gets fitted with professional masks, suits, and gloves while learning the basic safety 'rules of the road'.
Introduction to the can: Our artists demonstrate how to control spray pressure and create different line widths in a low-pressure, fun way.
Sketching the vision: Participants start by sketching their ideas on the wall or canvas with light colours, guided by our pros.
Filling with colour: This is the best part! Everyone chooses their favourite vibrant colours to fill in their designs and make them pop.
Adding the 'bits': We teach simple techniques for highlights, shadows, and outlines to give the artwork that professional street art look.
The grand reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece and take group photos to celebrate the achievement.
Cleanup & take-away: We handle all the mess! Participants leave with a massive sense of accomplishment and, often, their own canvas creations.
