The experience
Why choose a Graffitifun session for your next school activity in Queenstown? It's more than just painting—it's about building confidence and teamwork! ✨
- Epic engagement: Even the most "too cool for school" students get hyped when they see the spray cans come out. 🔥
- Curriculum friendly: We can easily link our workshops to Art, Design, or even Social Studies topics. 📚
- Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant mural come to life gives students a massive sense of achievement. 🏆
- Zero stress for teachers: We handle all the prep, the gear, and the cleanup. You just enjoy the vibes! 🎉
- Professional artists: Your students learn from actual pros who live and breathe street art culture. 🎤
- Safe & professional: We use the best safety gear and have backup artists ready so we never cancel. 💪

Step by step
- Introduction & culture: We kick things off with a brief history of street art and graffiti, explaining the difference between tagging and masterpieces.
- Safety first: Every student gets geared up in protective suits, gloves, and high-quality masks before we touch the cans.
- The first spray: Our pros demonstrate how to hold the can and control the pressure to get different effects on the wall.
- Mastering techniques: Students practice "filling," "fading," and creating crisp "outlines" on their own practice sections.
- Design phase: Working together or individually, the students sketch out their big ideas on paper before hitting the wall.
- The main event: This is where the magic happens! The students apply their new skills to create a massive, colourful mural.
- Finishing touches: Our artists help the kids add highlights and shadows to make their artwork really "pop."
- Group photo & cleanup: We celebrate the creativity with some epic photos of the project and then we handle all the recycling and cleaning.

Local culture
Street art in Queenstown
Queenstown isn't just the adventure capital of the world; it’s a growing hub for creative expression! While most people think of bungy jumping and skiing, the local street art scene is quietly making waves. From the hidden gems in the laneways to the vibrant murals near the waterfront, there’s an energy here that perfectly matches the "go big or go home" attitude of graffiti art. We love bringing this urban energy to local schools, helping students see their stunning natural surroundings through a fresh, colourful lens.
Pricing
Our school workshops are priced to be accessible while still providing the highest quality professional materials. Prices typically range from NZ$45 to NZ$95 per student.
The final cost depends on the number of students, the amount of paint required, and whether you want to create a permanent mural or individual canvases. We don't require upfront payment — you only pay once the workshop is complete!
