Absolutely! Most of our university participants have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, from nozzle control to line work. We provide a safe, supportive environment where 'mistakes' are just part of the style. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the professional-looking piece your group has created together.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get creative. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, various nozzles (caps) for different effects, protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality masks. We also bring the canvases or mobile boards. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a health and safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice time, and the execution of a large-scale collective masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule or a shorter window during a student union event, we can adapt the timing to suit your needs.

Is it safe to use spray paint on campus?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-pressure paints which are easier to control and provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one is inhaling fumes. Will the graffiti be permanent on the university walls?

While we love the idea of permanent murals, we usually work on large mobile plastic walls or individual canvases. This means we can set up anywhere on your Sligo campus without leaving a permanent mark on university property. If the university has a designated 'legal wall' or has given permission for a permanent mural, we can certainly facilitate that too!

How does the payment process work for student societies?

We are very flexible! You can pay after the workshop has been completed via invoice or bank transfer. This is often easier for university societies and student unions who need to process payments through official channels. We don't require an upfront deposit to secure your date, and we have backup artists ready to go so your event is never cancelled.
