Do the participants need any prior drawing experience?

Absolutely! No prior artistic skills are required for our graffiti youth projects in Dobrich. Our professional artists are experts at breaking down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the journey and the fun of creation rather than perfection. By the end of the session, even those who have never held a spray can before will be amazed at what they have achieved. It is all about confidence and self-expression!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for young people?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. Our spray paints are selected for their quality, and we always conduct workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large open spaces. Before we start, our artists give a comprehensive safety briefing on how to handle the equipment correctly. You are in safe, professional hands throughout the entire event.

How long does a typical youth project session last?

A standard youth project workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for an introduction to street art history, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final creation of a large-scale mural or individual canvases. We can adjust the duration to fit your specific schedule, whether it is a quick energiser or a deep-dive creative afternoon. Our goal is to keep the energy high from start to finish!

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We bring everything! Graffitifun provides all the necessary professional spray cans in a wide variety of vibrant colours, protective clothing (overalls/ponchos, gloves, and masks), and the surfaces to paint on. Whether we are using large wooden boards, cling-film walls, or actual masonry (with permission), we handle the logistics. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a bit of dust on.

Where in Dobrich do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! While we often work in public spaces or at youth centres, we can also bring the workshop to your specific location in Dobrich. We can set up mobile graffiti walls almost anywhere. If you don't have a venue, let us know, and we can suggest some of the best local spots that provide the perfect urban backdrop for a street art experience. Flexibility makes our projects accessible to everyone.

Do we need to pay in advance to secure a booking?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'No Stress' booking policy. You do not need to pay anything upfront when you book your youth project. We believe in the quality of our workshops, so you only pay after the event is successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we’ve delivered. It’s part of our commitment to being the most reliable street art provider in Bulgaria.

What is the maximum group size for a youth project?

Our youth projects are highly scalable. We can cater to small groups of 10 or large-scale community events with 100+ participants. For larger groups, we simply bring in more of our professional artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance. No matter the size of your youth group, school class, or community club, we have the staff and equipment to make it a massive success.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti experience for your youth group in Dobrich? It’s more than just paint—it’s an empowerment tool that resonates with young people like nothing else.

Boost Confidence: Seeing a giant mural come to life from their own hands gives teens a massive sense of achievement. 💪
Teamwork in Action: Large-scale graffiti requires coordination and communication, perfect for strengthening community bonds. 🤝
Safe Self-Expression: We provide a legal, structured, and safe outlet for urban creativity.
Professional Mentors: Our artists aren't just talented; they are great at connecting with young people and sharing their passion. 🎤
No Skills Required: Anyone can do it! We break down the "barrier to entry" so every participant feels like a pro.
Zero Risk Booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists ready to go, your event is guaranteed to happen. 🏆

Step by step

Intro & Street Art Lore: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of graffiti, from New York subways to the streets of Bulgaria.
Safety & Gear Up: Everyone gets fitted with protective masks and gloves. We explain how to use the cans safely and respect the environment.
First Lines: Our artists demonstrate basic techniques—how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines and dots.
Sketching the Vision: Participants brainstorm their ideas. We help translate those thoughts into a rough "piece" or "tag" on paper first.
Can Control Practice: Before hitting the main wall, everyone gets a "practice run" to get a feel for the spray and the vibrant colours.
Filling & Fading: Learn the secrets of "fills"—creating smooth colour gradients and those classic 3D effects that make graffiti pop.
Execution: This is it! The group works together to create a massive, colourful mural that represents their collective message.
The Outline & Highlights: We teach the "cut-back" technique and how to add highlights to make the artwork look professional and sharp.
Photo Op & Cleanup: We celebrate the masterpiece with a group photo session before tidying up the area, leaving only art behind.

Local culture

Dobrich is a city with a heart for culture and history, known for its beautiful City Park and the "Old Dobrich" ethnographic complex. But while we love the traditions, we also believe in adding a modern, urban pulse to the city! Bringing a graffiti workshop to Dobrich allows young people to connect with contemporary global culture right here in the Dobruja region. It’s about merging the city’s peaceful vibe with the energetic "zap" of a spray can.

Fun Fact: Did you know Dobrich was once named Tolbukhin? Just as the city has evolved and changed its name, street art is all about transformation and seeing the world through a new, colourful lens! ✨
