Frequently asked questions

What exactly is live painting for events?

Live painting is a dynamic performance where our artist creates a large-scale mural from scratch right in front of your guests. It serves as both entertainment and a visual centerpiece for your event. Unlike a static decoration, the 'live' element captures people's attention as they watch the artwork evolve throughout the day or evening, making it a memorable talking point for any gathering in Athens.

What surfaces can be painted during the performance?

We offer total flexibility! Our artists can work on portable wooden walls, stretched canvases, or even temporary film surfaces. If you have a specific vehicle, piece of furniture, or a permanent wall at your venue that you have permission to paint, we can work on that too. We provide all the necessary drop cloths and protection to ensure the Athens venue stays perfectly clean.

Is it safe to have live painting indoors?

Absolutely. We use high-quality, low-odour professional spray paint and acrylic markers designed for indoor use. We also bring high-end ventilation solutions if required. If your event is in a smaller indoor space in Athens, we can adjust our techniques—using more brushwork or markers—to ensure there are no fumes while still delivering that high-impact street art aesthetic you're looking for.

How long does a live painting performance take?

A typical live painting session lasts between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the complexity of the design and the scale of the surface. We can accelerate the process for short high-impact mixers or let it span a full day for larger festivals or conferences. We’ll coordinate the timing with your event schedule in Athens to ensure the 'big reveal' happens exactly when you want it.

Can the artwork be customised to our brand or theme?

Yes, we love incorporating your vision! Whether it's a corporate logo, a specific color palette, or a theme related to Greek culture, our artists will create a bespoke sketch for your approval before the event. This ensures the final piece aligns perfectly with your brand identity or the personal style of your Athens celebration while still maintaining an authentic street art feel.

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

Most clients choose to keep the final masterpiece! If the work was done on canvas or a portable board, it’s yours to display in your office, home, or to auction off for charity after the event. It’s a fantastic way to keep a permanent memory of your Athens event. If you don't wish to keep it, just let us know, and we can handle the removal.

How do I book and what are the payment terms?

Booking is simple and risk-free with Graffitifun. You don't have to pay anything upfront; we operate on a 'pay after the workshop/event' basis to ensure you are 100% satisfied. We also have backup artists available in our network, so even if an emergency crops up, we guarantee a professional artist will be at your Athens location as planned.
