Why choose us in Birmingham?

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your team onboarding in Birmingham? It’s more than just painting; it's about building confidence and communication in a completely new environment. Here’s why it works:

  • Level the playing field: In front of a blank wall, everyone is equal. It removes workplace hierarchies instantly.
  • Boost creative confidence: Many people think they "aren't creative"—our artists prove them wrong within 20 minutes.
  • Tangible results: You’ll finish the session with a massive, vibrant piece of art that represents your collective effort.
  • Low stress, high impact: Our informal tone keeps things relaxed, making it the perfect icebreaker for new colleagues.
  • Professional reliability: With backup artists and years of experience, we guarantee your event will go ahead without a hitch.
  • Flexible hosting: We can host in London, Manchester, or right here in the West Midlands.

How it works

  1. Initial consultation: Reach out to us with your group size and preferred dates in Birmingham. We’ll discuss your goals and provide a tailored plan.
  2. Arrival and intro: Your dedicated graffiti artist arrives at the venue to set up and welcomes your group with a brief history of the culture.
  3. Health and safety briefing: We suit everyone up in protective gear and explain the essential safety rules for using aerosol paint.
  4. Mastering the can: Learn the 'basics of the spray' – including how to control lines, dots, and fades through pressure and distance.
  5. Sketching the concept: Your group works together or with the artist to sketch out the main design on the wall or canvas.
  6. Filling and fading: This is where the colour comes in! Everyone gets to paint, learning how to blend colours and fill large areas smoothly.
  7. Outline and detail: The artist helps the group add the 'final touches' – sharp outlines and highlights that make the artwork pop.
  8. The big reveal: Step back and admire the collective masterpiece. It’s the perfect moment for team photos and social media shots!
  9. Debrief and cleanup: We handle all the cleanup and disposal of cans, leaving you to enjoy the creative high of your brand new mural.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need any previous artistic experience to join?

Absolutely no prior art skills are needed to enjoy our onboarding workshops in Birmingham! Our professional artists specialize in teaching beginners. We start with the basics of can control and safety before moving on to creative techniques. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the masterpiece you've helped create. It's all about having fun and trying something new in a supportive environment.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a complete street art experience. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, high-quality caps (nozzles), protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We also provide the canvas or surface area where the art will be created. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for everyone?

The safety of our participants is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to filter out fumes, as well as protective gloves and body suits. Our workshops are ideally held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specialized indoor spaces with proper extraction. Our instructors are trained in safety protocols to ensure everyone has a creative and risk-free experience from start to finish.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard onboarding or team workshop typically lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This allows enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the completion of a large-scale group mural. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, we can often tailor the duration to fit your event's needs in Birmingham.

Can you host the workshop at our own office or venue?

We are incredibly flexible with locations! We can host the workshop at one of our partner street art spots in Birmingham, or we can bring the entire experience to your office, car park, or event venue. We use mobile graffiti walls and protective floor covering to ensure we leave your space exactly as we found it, but with much better memories!

How does the 'pay after the workshop' policy work?

We believe in the quality of our workshops, which is why we don't require upfront payments for most bookings. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and then pay the invoice after the workshop has successfully taken place. This gives you peace of mind and ensures that we are 100% committed to delivering a fantastic creative experience for your team.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor event?

While we love the Great British outdoors, we always have a plan for the Birmingham weather. If your event is outdoors and rain is forecast, we can often arrange for pop-up gazebos to keep the artists and the artwork dry. Alternatively, we can look at moving the session to an indoor location or rescheduling if it’s a public outdoor wall session. We’ll always communicate with you.
