Frequently asked questions

Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely not! Our Fortaleza onboarding workshops are specifically designed for beginners. Whether you have never touched a spray can before or you have some basic drawing skills, our professional artists guide you through every single step. We focus on building confidence and having fun, ensuring everyone leaves with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. It is all about the experience and trying something new!

What equipment is provided in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a fantastic creative session in Fortaleza. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or practice walls and all the professional tips you can handle. Just show up in comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dusty, and we will take care of the rest!

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-grade FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure you aren't breathing in fumes, along with protective gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas to ensure a safe environment. Additionally, our professional artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, teaching you the correct way to handle the equipment to prevent any mess or mishaps.

How long does a typical session last?

The duration typically ranges from 1.5 to 3 hours. For our standard onboarding workshops in Fortaleza, 2 hours is usually the sweet spot. This allows enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, plenty of practice time, and finally, the creation of your main masterpiece. We move at a pace that keeps the energy high without ever feeling rushed.

Can I book a private workshop for a large group?

We love hosting groups! Our workshops are perfect for team-building, birthday celebrations, or just a group of friends looking for something unique to do in Fortaleza. While we have a minimum group size for private bookings, we can accommodate very large groups by bringing in additional professional artists. This ensures everyone gets personal attention and guidance regardless of the total number of participants in the session.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

We understand that plans can change. One of the best things about Graffitifun is that we don't require upfront payments for most bookings—you pay after the workshop! We also have a network of backup artists available in Fortaleza, which means your event is protected against last-minute artist cancellations. If you need to reschedule, just let us know as soon as possible and we will do our best to find a new slot!

Can I take my artwork home with me?

Yes, you can! Depending on the workshop format, you will either work on a large communal mural or create your own individual artwork on a canvas or board. If you are working on individual pieces, you are more than welcome to take your creation home to show off to your friends and family. It’s the ultimate souvenir of your creative journey through the streets of Fortaleza!
