Why choose us in Leeds?

Why choose a graffiti pop-up for your Leeds event? It’s more than just painting; it’s about breaking boundaries and discovering a hidden talent you never knew you had. Here’s why we’re the top choice for a creative boost:

  • Mobile & Flexible: We bring the party to you—anywhere in Leeds, from the city centre to the outskirts. 🚛
  • Zero Stress: We handle everything: set-up, tutoring, and the full clean-up. You just show up and spray!
  • Inclusivity First: Street art is for everyone. Age, ability, or background doesn't matter; everyone creates something awesome. 🌍
  • Professional Mentors: Learn from real graffiti artists who are passionate about sharing their secrets and skills.
  • Memorable Outcomes: Take home your own canvas or create a massive collaborative mural that looks incredible in photos. 📸
  • Safety & Quality: We use top-tier protective gear and low-odour paints to ensure a comfortable environment for all.

How it works

  1. The Arrival & Set-up: Our team arrives at your chosen Leeds location early to set up the mobile walls, lay down protective flooring, and arrange the rainbow of spray cans.
  2. Safety & Gear Up: You'll be fitted with high-spec masks and gloves. We'll run through a quick safety demo so everyone feels confident before the caps start clicking.
  3. The Masterclass Intro: A professional street artist demonstrates the basics: how to nozzle-swap, how to control paint flow, and how to create clean lines versus soft fades.
  4. Practice Makes Perfect: Everyone gets a 'practice wall' to test out their skills. This is the messy, fun part where you get a feel for the pressure of the spray can. 🔥
  5. Design Lab: Sketch out your concept! Whether it's a bold tag, a character, or an abstract piece, our artists help you refine your idea before hitting the final surface.
  6. The Main Production: Now for the real deal. You'll move to your final canvas or wall section to bring your vision to life using your new-found skills.
  7. Detailing & Outlining: In the final stage, we show you how to add the 'pops'—highlights, deep shadows, and that crisp black outline that makes graffiti jump off the wall.
  8. The Big Reveal & Gallery: We step back, ditch the masks, and admire the collective work. It’s the perfect time for group photos and a celebratory vibe. 📸
  9. Clean-up & Take-away: We pack everything down, leaving the site spotless. If you painted on individual canvases, they’re yours to take home and hang!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to be artistic or have drawing skills to join?

Absolutely not! Our Leeds pop-up workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners to seasoned crafters. Our professional artists will guide you through every stage, from holding the can correctly to mastering complex shading. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring you leave with a piece of art you're proud of and a massive smile on your face. It's all about the experience and expressing your unique personality through paint.

Is the graffiti workshop safe and what should I wear?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 respiratory masks, gloves, and protective ponchos to keep your clothes clean. We use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier to control, especially for beginners. Every session starts with a comprehensive safety briefing, and our artists supervise the group closely throughout the entire event. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on, just in case!

How long does a pop-up graffiti event typically last?

Standard Leeds pop-up sessions typically run for about 2 hours. This gives us enough time for an introduction, a practice session on the 'practice wall', and the final creation of your masterpiece. We can adjust the duration for specific event needs, ranging from 1.5-hour 'express' sessions to full-day immersive experiences. We ensure the pace remains energetic and engaging so there's never a dull moment.

Do I need to pay upfront to secure my booking?

We believe in total transparency and flexibility. You don't need to pay anything upfront when booking your Leeds event. We settle the payment after the workshop is completed, ensuring you are 100% satisfied with the experience we've provided. This 'pay-after' policy is part of our commitment to high-quality service and guaranteed fun. Simply book your date, and we'll handle the rest!

Where can the pop-up event be held in Leeds?

Our pop-up events are incredibly versatile. We can set up at your office car park, a hired community hall, a local park (with permits), or even indoors in well-ventilated spaces using specialised water-based paints. If you don't have a venue in Leeds, let us know! We have local connections and can often help suggest the perfect spot to host your creative breakout.

What exactly is included in the workshop package?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes a wide range of premium spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the canvases or surfaces you'll be painting on. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps a few ideas of what you'd like to create—though we have plenty of inspiration boards to help you out if you're stuck!
