Frequently asked questions

Do students need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Our Dublin university workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to seasoned doodlers. Our pro artists will walk you through the basics of spray can control, cap types, and layering. You will be amazed at how quickly you can create something impressive once you learn the fundamental techniques. It is all about having a laugh and trying something new!

Where in Dublin do these university workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at various outdoor locations around Dublin, or we can come directly to your university campus if you have a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor hall. We use high-quality, professional-grade materials and provide all necessary protective gear to ensure the environment remains clean and everyone stays safe while creating their masterpieces.

What safety measures and gear do you provide?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 masks, gloves, and protective overalls for every student. Our artists are highly experienced in managing groups and ensure that everyone follows safety protocols regarding spray distance and ventilation. We use professional spray paint brands that meet European safety standards, ensuring a fun but responsible creative environment for your society or faculty.

How long does a typical university graffiti session last?

Most university sessions last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the creation of a final large-scale group mural or individual canvases. We can also tailor the duration to fit into a specific society event slot or a busy lecture schedule if needed.

How do we book, and do we need to pay upfront?

Booking is easy and student-friendly! You can request a quote through our website using our cost calculator. We don't require any upfront payment, which makes it easier for society treasurers to manage their budgets. You simply pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy with their work. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event always goes ahead.

What is the maximum group size for a Dublin student event?

We can accommodate groups of almost any size! For smaller society committees of 10-15 people to large-scale campus events with 100+ students, we scale our team of artists accordingly. For very large groups, we often work in rotations or create a massive collaborative mural where everyone contributes a piece of the puzzle. Just let us know your estimated numbers!
