Why choose us in Trujillo?

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next university event in Trujillo? Because boring team-building is so last decade! Here’s why students and faculty love us:

  • Ultimate Stress Relief: Forget the deadlines for a few hours. There is something deeply therapeutic about shaking a can and letting the paint fly. 💨
  • Instant Community: Nothing bonds a group of students faster than collaborating on a three-metre-high mural. It’s the perfect icebreaker!
  • Inclusion-First: You don't need to be a 'fine art' student to excel. Graffiti is democratic—anyone can pick up a can and create something bold.
  • Expert Mentorship: Learn from working artists who live and breathe the street art culture of Peru. They share real stories, not just techniques. 🎤
  • Risk-Free Booking: Use our Cost Calculator for an estimate, and remember: you don't pay until the workshop is over and everyone is smiling!
  • Unique Content: Your social media feed will thank you. The vibrant colours and 'bad-to-the-bone' aesthetic make for the best photos. 📸

How it works

  1. The warm-up: We kick things off with a quick intro to street art history and a safety briefing to get everyone comfortable.
  2. Mastering the nozzle: Our pros show you the 'can-control' basics—how to hold the spray can, manage pressure, and create different line widths.
  3. Sketching your soul: Grabbing the markers, you'll sketch out your ideas on paper first to figure out the flow of your piece.
  4. First lines: Moving to the 'wall', you'll use light colours to map out your design, getting a feel for the scale.
  5. Filling it in: This is where the magic happens! We'll teach you techniques for gradients, fades, and solid fills to make the art pop.
  6. The outline: Now for the steady hand—adding those sharp black outlines that give graffiti its iconic, crisp look.
  7. Adding the 'flavour': Use drips, stars, and highlights to give your work that extra professional edge and personality.
  8. The photoshoot: We wrap up by documenting your hard work with high-quality photos of the group and the final mural.
  9. Clean and wrap: We handle all the cleanup, leaving you with great memories (and maybe a canvas or two to take home).

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical university graffiti workshop in Trujillo last?

University sessions usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for the initial brainstorming and 'tag' practice, followed by the main event where you collaborate on a larger piece. If you have a specific schedule or a tight slot between lectures, just let us know. We are flexible and can adapt the pace to ensure everyone finishes their masterpiece without feeling rushed.

Is the workshop safe and do you provide protective gear?

Absolutely. We don't just provide the spray cans; we bring high-quality respirators, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes paint-free. Safety is our top priority, and our professional artists provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a cap. We ensure the workspace is well-ventilated and that everyone feels comfortable and secure throughout the entire creative process. peace of mind is part of the package!

Do students need prior artistic experience to participate?

Nope! Most of our participants have never touched a spray can in their lives. Our workshop is designed to take you from 'zero to hero' in a single afternoon. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of distance, pressure, and line work before you move on to more complex techniques. It’s all about having fun, being bold, and discovering a talent you didn't know you had.

Where in Trujillo do these workshops usually take place?

We can set up on university grounds if there is a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area with proper protection. Alternatively, we can host the event at a local street art hotspot in Trujillo to give you that authentic urban vibe. We handle all the logistics and site preparation, ensuring we leave the space exactly as we found it—except maybe for a stunning new piece of art!

Is this suitable for large groups or student societies?

You bet. Graffiti is the ultimate team sport! While students can work on individual canvases, we highly recommend our 'Big Wall' approach for universities. This involves the group working together to plan, sketch, and fill a massive collaborative mural. It’s a fantastic way to break down social barriers, encourage communication, and build a sense of community within a faculty or student society.

What kind of materials are included in the workshop?

We use high-quality, professional-grade spray paint that offers vibrant colours and excellent coverage. We also provide a variety of 'caps' (nozzles) that allow for different line thicknesses, from fine outlines to broad fills. Along with the paint, we supply canvases or boards, tape, stencils, and all the cleaning supplies needed. You just need to bring your energy and some old shoes!

What happens if the artist can't make it or we need to cancel?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We have a solid roster of backup artists in the Trujillo area, so if an instructor falls ill or has an emergency, we’ve got it covered. We guarantee your event will go ahead as planned. Plus, you don't have to pay a penny upfront—you only pay after the workshop is complete and you’re 100% happy with the result.
