Do I need any previous drawing or painting experience?

While some artistic flair helps, you absolutely do not need to be an artist to enjoy our workshop in Luxembourg City. Our professional instructors are experts at breaking down complex 3D techniques into easy, manageable steps. We start with the basics of light and shadow, ensuring everyone can create something they are proud of. Most of our participants have never held a spray can before they join us!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a fantastic day of street art. This includes high-quality spray cans in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks to keep you safe and clean. We also provide the canvases or practice walls. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our number one priority at Graffitifun. We use high-quality, low-odour spray paint and provide all necessary safety equipment, including professional-grade masks and gloves. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our instructors give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and secure environment for kids, teens, and adults alike in the heart of Luxembourg.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

The weather in Luxembourg can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered! If rain is forecast, we usually move the workshop to one of our covered outdoor locations or a ventilated indoor space. We have backup plans and lead artists ready to ensure your event goes ahead rain or shine. We will always communicate with you in advance if we need to adjust the location due to the weather.

How long does a typical 3D graffiti workshop last?

Our 3D street art sessions typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of graffiti, a technical demonstration, practice time for your 3D shadows, and the final creation of your masterpiece. We find this is the 'sweet spot' where energy stays high and everyone has enough time to finish their artwork without feeling rushed. It's the perfect duration for a city activity!

Can I book this for a private group or corporate event?

Absolutely! We love hosting private groups. Whether you are planning a unique bachelor party in Luxembourg City, a school outing, or a corporate team-building event, we can tailor the workshop to your needs. We can accommodate various group sizes from small private parties to large-scale brand activations. Just let us know your group size and we will create a bespoke experience just for you.

How is 3D street art different from regular graffiti?

3D street art is specifically focused on the illusion of depth and 'popping' off the wall. While a standard graffiti workshop focuses on lettering and tags, our 3D workshop teaches you the physics of light, how to create realistic shadows, and how to use forced perspective. It is a slightly more technical but incredibly rewarding way to dive into the world of professional urban contemporary art.

Local culture

Luxembourg City is a masterpiece of layers itself, from the deep valleys of the Grund to the soaring heights of the Kirchberg plateau. This verticality makes it the perfect backdrop for 3D street art. The city has a thriving urban scene, with legendary spots like the \"Slaughterhouse\" (Schluechthaus) in Hollerich serving as a canvas for local and international talent. Our workshops tap into this vibrant energy, blending the historic charm of the city with cutting-edge modern techniques.

Fun Fact: Did you know Luxembourg City's ancient fortifications are full of hidden tunnels and shadows? It’s basically a natural 3D playground that has inspired local street artists for decades! 🏰

Whether you're visiting for the weekend or a lifelong local, seeing the city through the eyes of a graffiti artist gives you a whole new perspective on the streets of the Grand Duchy. We also host events in nearby Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange, Dudelange, and Ettelbruck!
