Do I need to have any artistic skills to join a workshop?

Absolutely no prior experience is needed! Our workshops in Luxembourg City are designed for everyone, from total beginners to those who’ve dabbled in art before. Our professional artists will guide you through every single step, from holding the can correctly to mastering complex shading techniques. We focus on fun and creativity, ensuring that by the end of the session, you'll be amazed at what you’ve managed to create on the wall.

What materials are included in the workshop price?

We supply everything you need for a fantastic street art experience. This includes a wide variety of high-quality spray cans in various colours, protective clothing (like overall suits, gloves, and masks), and the canvases or wall space to paint on. You just need to show up in some clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty and bring plenty of enthusiasm. We handle the setup and the cleanup so you can focus on the art!

Is the spray paint safe to use during the session?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks and protective gear to every participant. Our workshops take place in well-ventilated areas or legal outdoor graffiti zones. Furthermore, our professional instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can, ensuring everyone knows how to handle the equipment responsibly. We make sure the environment is controlled, professional, and, most importantly, safe for all ages.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

A standard graffiti workshop in Luxembourg City typically lasts between 1.5 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for an introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. However, we can often customise the duration for larger corporate events or special festivals. If you have a specific schedule in mind, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate your timing needs.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor workshop?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! We have access to several covered outdoor locations and indoor spaces across Luxembourg where we can host workshops regardless of the weather. If you've booked an outdoor session and the weather looks truly terrible, our backup artists and flexible planning mean we can usually pivot to a sheltered spot or reschedule to ensure you get the best possible creative experience.

Can you host workshops in other cities in Luxembourg?

Yes, we love traveling! While Luxembourg City is a hub for us, we also regularly host workshops in Esch-sur-Alzette, Differdange, Dudelange, and Ettelbruck. Whether you want us to come to your school, office, or a local community centre, we are fully mobile. We bring all the necessary equipment to your chosen location, ensuring the same high-quality Graffitifun experience no matter where you are in the Grand Duchy.

Is there an age limit for the graffiti workshops?

We recommend a minimum age of 8 years old for our workshops, as the spray cans require a certain amount of hand strength and coordination. For younger children, we offer adapted sessions with smaller cans or stencil-based activities. There is no upper age limit—we've had participants in their 80s having a blast! It’s a fantastic multi-generational activity that brings out the inner rebel in everyone, regardless of their age.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next outing in Luxembourg? Because boring office drinks are so last year! Here’s why we’re the top choice for street art fans:

Unleash your inner rebel: There’s something incredibly cathartic about spraying paint on a wall. It’s the ultimate stress-buster! 💥
No skills? No problem: Our "Tag Creator" and "Workshop Quiz" tools help you find your style before you even pick up a can.
Total flexibility: We don't just do general workshops; we specialise in kids parties, bachelor parties, and even brand activations. 🎈
Zero risk booking: With no upfront payment and backup artists always on standby, your event is in the safest hands in Lux.
Professional pros: You aren't just learning from "someone who paints" — you're being coached by active artists who live the culture. 🏆
Eco-conscious: We use high-quality paints and ensure all our workshop sites are left spotless (except for the art, of course!).

Step by step

Introduction & safety: Meet your pro artist and learn the essential do's and don'ts of spray painting safety.
The tag creator: Get inspired by choosing your "street name" and sketching out your initial ideas on paper.
Can control: Learn how to hold the spray can, swap nozzles (caps), and control the pressure for different effects.
Basic techniques: Practice making clean lines, dots, and simple shapes to get a feel for the medium.
Filling & fading: Master the art of solid fills and smooth colour gradients to make your work pop.
Outlining & highlights: Add those sharp "power lines" and highlights that bring a piece of graffiti to life.
The grand finale: Work on your final canvas or wall piece, applying everything you've learned to create a masterpiece.
Photo session: Strike a pose in front of your artwork for some epic photos to share with friends and family.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Luxembourg City might be known for its historic high-finance and ancient fortifications, but beneath the surface beats a heart of pure urban grit. Areas like the Grund and the mural-lined streets around Hollerich showcase a thriving creative scene that blends traditional European charm with modern subculture. Our workshops draw inspiration from this local contrast, often held near the city's legal "Hall of Fame" spots where the art is always changing.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Luxembourg City hosts some of the most impressive legal street art walls in Europe? The city actively supports urban culture, making it one of the safest and coolest places to learn the craft without any of the "outlaw" stress! 🎨

Whether we're painting in view of the Adolphe Bridge or at a hidden urban spot in Esch-sur-Alzette, you'll feel the unique "Lux" energy in every spray.

Pricing

Our workshop prices are designed to be as flexible as your art! Depending on your group size, the duration, and whether you want a private or public session, prices typically range between:

€35 - €70 per person

This includes all your materials, gear, and expert tuition. We believe in total transparency, so there are never any hidden costs. For schools in Ettelbruck or large company events, we offer special package rates.
