Do the kids need any previous drawing or art experience?

Absolutely! No prior artistic experience is needed to enjoy our summer camp activity in Luxembourg City. Our professional artists are pros at breaking down complex mural techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to shading and 3D effects. Most participants are amazed at what they can produce in just a few hours—it's all about building confidence and having a blast with the spray cans!

Is the paint safe and what protective gear is provided?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 masks to ensure no one inhales fumes, along with protective overalls and gloves to keep clothes clean. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor locations or specially vented indoor spaces. Furthermore, our instructors are experienced in managing groups of young people, ensuring that the spray cans are used responsibly and safely throughout the entire creative session.

How long does a typical graffiti summer camp session last?

For our summer camp sessions in Luxembourg City, we recommend a duration of 2 to 3 hours. This gives the group enough time to learn the history of street art, practice their techniques on plastic film, and then collaborate on a final masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, we can definitely Taylor the timing to fit your camp's daily itinerary perfectly.

Can the workshop take place at our own summer camp location?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at one of our partner graffiti locations in Luxembourg City, or we can bring the entire setup to your summer camp site. We use mobile "graffiti walls" (heavy-duty stretch film) that we set up between trees or poles, ensuring we leave no permanent marks on your property while providing a massive canvas for the kids.

What is the minimum age for participants?

We generally recommend our graffiti workshops for children aged 8 and up. This is because the spray cans require a certain level of hand strength and coordination to operate effectively. We use special low-pressure cans that are easier for younger hands to control, making the experience accessible and rewarding for different age groups within your summer camp programme.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Rain won't stop the creativity! If the weather looks shaky in Luxembourg City, we can often move the workshop to a sheltered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we are very resilient to scheduling changes. We always coordinate with camp organisers 24-48 hours in advance if the forecast looks particularly challenging.

Do we need to pay in advance to book our session?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our "pay after the workshop" policy. We don't require any upfront deposits to secure your date. This takes the stress out of planning for summer camp organisers. Once the session is complete and everyone is happy with their street art creations, we handle the payment via invoice or digital transfer. It’s all about trust and making things easy for you!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your summer camp in Luxembourg City? It’s simple: it’s the activity they’ll be talking about for the rest of the year! 🚀

Ultimate cool factor: Nothing beats the excitement of using a spray can for the first time—it's an instant hit with every age group.
Boosts creative confidence: We help kids overcome the "fear of the blank page" by teaching them that there are no mistakes in street art.
Team building: Collaborative murals require campers to communicate, plan, and work together to create a unified piece of art. 🤝
Safe & professional: With years of experience across Europe, we bring a level of professionalism that ensures a high-quality, safe experience.
Zero hassle for you: We bring all the supplies, set everything up, and clean it all up. You just bring the campers!
Perfect for any location: Whether you're in the city centre or the outskirts, our mobile setups work anywhere.

Step by step

Introduction & safety briefing: We kick things off with a high-energy intro, explaining the basics of street art culture and handing out protective gear like overalls and masks. 🎭
The "tag" creator: Every camper chooses their own street art name and learns how to design a unique "tag" or signature style.
Can control practice: Before hitting the big walls, kids practice on "cellophane walls" to learn how to control spray pressure and distance.
Sketching the masterpiece: We move on to the main canvas, where our artists help the kids sketch out a large-scale collective design. ✍️
Filling and fading: This is the fun part! The campers fill in the designs using a vibrant palette of professional spray colours.
Outlining and highlights: We teach the secret tricks of "clean lines" and adding white highlights to make the artwork pop and look 3D.
The final reveal: We step back, remove the protective tape, and admire the massive mural created by the team. 📸
Artist feedback: Our professional artists give encouraging feedback and tips on how to keep developing their new skills.

Good to know

Our graffiti workshops for summer camps are designed to be "plug and play" for organisers. We handle the mess and the stress! 🛠️

Local culture

Luxembourg City might be known for its stunning historic fortifications and banking prowess, but beneath the surface lies a thriving, colourful street art scene! From the iconic legal walls at the Schluechthaus in Hollerich to the hidden gems in the Grund, the city is a playground for modern muralists. We love bringing our summer camp workshops here because the local architecture provides such a dramatic backdrop for new art.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Luxembourg City hosts several "legal zones" where street artists can practice their craft freely? This supportive attitude towards urban culture makes it one of the most welcoming cities in Europe for aspiring young graffiti artists to learn the ropes!

Pricing

We believe in transparent pricing tailored to your specific needs. Because summer camp groups vary so much in size, we offer flexible packages to fit your budget. 💰

Our standard graffiti workshop prices range from €35 to €70 per person. This variation depends on the number of participants, the duration of the session, and whether you want the kids to work on a collective mural or individual canvases to take home.

The best part? No upfront payment is required! You only pay via invoice after the workshop has been successfully delivered and the kids are buzzing with excitement.
