How long does a typical graffiti workshop for a communion last?

Most graffiti communion parties in Luxembourg City last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning time and creative freedom without the younger guests losing focus. We can adjust the duration based on your party schedule, ensuring the workshop fits seamlessly between your lunch and cake cutting. If you have a larger group, we might suggest a slightly longer session so everyone gets enough attention from our artist.

Is it safe for children and their smart communion clothes?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier for children to control. Our professional artists supervise the group at all times, ensuring that the spray paint stays on the canvas and off the guests! It is a controlled, safe environment designed for maximum fun and zero stress.

Do I need to provide a specific venue for the workshop?

Ideally, we recommend an outdoor space with good ventilation, such as a garden, courtyard, or a large patio. If you have booked a venue in Luxembourg City that doesn't have outdoor space, please let us know! We have mobile setups and can sometimes arrange specific locations. We always use protective floor coverings to ensure we leave the site exactly as we found it, with no colourful toes left behind!

Do the kids need any prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artist starts with a clear demonstration of basic techniques—how to hold the can, how to create lines, and how to fill in shapes. We guide the children (and adults!) through every step. By the end of the session, everyone is always amazed at the professional-looking street art they've managed to create together.

Can the children take their artwork home after the party?

Yes! One of the best parts of our communion packages is that the birthday boy or girl gets to keep the main collective masterpiece. For the individual canvases, every guest gets to take their own creation home as a unique party favour. It is a fantastic memento of the special day that beats a standard goody bag any day of the week!

What is the minimum age for the workshop participants?

We recommend a minimum age of 6 or 7 years old for graffiti workshops to ensure they can handle the spray cans properly. However, for communion parties, we often have a mix of ages. If there are younger siblings, they can usually participate with a bit of help from a parent or our artist. It’s a very inclusive activity that engages teenagers and grandparents alike!

What happens if we have a very large group of guests?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are hosting a small family gathering of 10 people or a massive celebration with 50+ guests, we can accommodate you. For larger groups, we simply send additional professional artists to ensure everyone gets enough guidance and spray time. Just let us know your expected headcount, and we will provide a tailor-made plan for your Luxembourg City event.

Local culture

Luxembourg City might be known for its historic fortifications and banking district, but look closer and you'll find a thriving street art scene! From the iconic works in the Hollerich district to the dedicated legal walls near the Pétrusse Valley, "Stad" is more creative than people think. We love bringing this urban energy to local celebrations, whether your family is based in the capital or coming in from Esch-sur-Alzette or Dudelange. Our workshops tap into this local culture, giving your guests a taste of the artistry found at the "Muerbelsmillen" or the "Rotondes."

Fun Fact: Did you know Luxembourg City hosts the "Kufa's Urban Art" festival? It’s part of the reason why street art has become such an accepted and celebrated part of the Grand Duchy's cultural heritage! 🎨
