Step by step

  1. Intro & safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick chat about the history of graffiti and a vital safety run-through to keep everyone protected.
  2. Mastering the gear: Students learn how to handle the spray cans, understand pressure control, and experiment with different 'caps' for various effects.
  3. Sketching the vision: Every great mural starts with a plan. We help the kids sketch out their ideas and 'tags' on paper before moving to the wall.
  4. First lines: Under the guidance of our pros, students move to the canvas to practice basic lines, circles, and fills.
  5. Adding colour & style: This is where the magic happens! We teach fading, blending, and how to make colours pop against each other.
  6. Outlining & highlights: To make the artwork truly stand out, we show the kids how to add sharp outlines and those all-important finishing highlights.
  7. Group masterpiece: Depending on the setup, students often collaborate on a large-scale mural, learning the value of teamwork and shared creativity.
  8. Final reveal & photos: We wrap up by admiring the hard work, taking group photos, and celebrating the incredible art created by the students.

Local culture

Street art in Luxembourg City

Luxembourg City might be known for its stunning historic fortifications and financial district, but it also has a beating heart of urban art. From the iconic legal walls at the Schluechthaus in Hollerich to the hidden gems found along the Pétrusse Valley, the city is a playground for street artists. Our workshops tap into this local energy, showing students that art isn't just something you see in the Villa Vauban—it's something you can create on the streets (legally, of course!). We celebrate the multicultural vibe of Luxembourg, encouraging students to incorporate different languages and styles into their work.

Fun Fact: Did you know that the "Schluechthaus" (the old slaughterhouse) in Hollerich is one of the most famous spots in the country for legal graffiti? It’s a rotating gallery where the art changes almost daily! 🎨
