What is the minimum age for the workshop?

Our after-school sessions in Grevenmacher are designed for children and teenagers aged 8 and up. At this age, they have the physical strength to operate the spray cans and the focus to follow safety instructions. We adapt our teaching style to suit different age groups, ensuring the younger ones have fun with shapes while the teens can dive into more complex lettering and shading techniques.

Is it safe for children to use spray paint?

Safety is our absolute priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors are professional artists who have years of experience working with youth groups. They provide constant supervision and ensure that all spray cans are used responsibly. We only use low-pressure cans which are much easier and safer for beginners to handle.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We start with the basics, like how to hold a can and control the pressure, before moving on to more creative tasks. Your children will be amazed at how quickly they can go from a simple 'tag' to a full-colour piece of art with the guidance of our friendly local artists.

What should the participants wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. While we provide protective suits and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy, and a stray drop of paint might find its way onto a sleeve or a trainer. Think 'garden play' attire rather than 'school uniform' and you'll be perfectly fine!

How long does a typical session last?

Typically, our after-school sessions last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of their masterpiece. If you have specific scheduling needs for your school or youth group in Grevenmacher, we can easily adjust the timing to fit your timeframe without losing the fun factor.

What happens if it rains?

While we love the vibe of outdoor street art, we also have indoor solutions! In Grevenmacher, we use special water-based spray paints for indoor sessions which have almost no odour and are perfectly safe for use in ventilated halls. This means the creative sparks can keep flying whether it's a sunny day by the Moselle or a rainy afternoon in the gym.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your after-school programme in Grevenmacher? It’s simple: it’s the ultimate way to engage kids who might not enjoy traditional sports or academic clubs. Here’s why it’s a total win: 🔥

Boosts Confidence: Seeing a giant, colourful piece of art they created themselves gives students a massive sense of achievement.
Unplugged Fun: It’s the perfect excuse to put down the phones and get hands-on with real-world materials. 📱🚫
Team Building: Many of our projects involve collaborative murals, teaching kids how to work together towards a common goal.
Professional Mentorship: Our artists aren't just teachers; they are active creators who inspire kids with their passion and skill.
Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the "hiss" of the can and the flow of the paint. 🧘‍♂️
Safety Guaranteed: With our "no cancellation" guarantee and backup artists, your event is always in safe hands!

Step by step

The artistic arrival: Our professional graffiti artist arrives at your Grevenmacher location with all the gear. We set up the workspaces and get the vibes going!
Safety first: Every student gets kitted out in protective gear, including masks and gloves. We explain the "rules of the road" for using spray cans safely.
Cans and caps: We teach the kids about different nozzles (caps) and how to control the spray. It’s all about the wrist movement! ✨
Sketching the dream: Before hitting the wall or canvas, students sketch out their ideas on paper, learning about letter structure and "swing".
Outline practice: Time to pick up the cans! Participants practice basic lines and circles to get a feel for the pressure.
Filling and fading: Learn the secrets of professional "fills" and how to blend colours together for that iconic 3D effect. 🎨
The final piece: Students work on their main project, applying everything they've learned to create a vibrant, colourful graffiti masterpiece.
The big reveal: We finish with a "gallery walk" where everyone can admire each other's work and take some epic photos for the Gram. 📸
Clean up: We handle the tidy-up, leaving nothing behind but the art and some very inspired students!

Local culture

Grevenmacher isn't just about beautiful vineyards and the butterfly garden; it's a town with a growing appreciation for modern culture! While the historic streets have their own charm, we love bringing a bit of urban edge to this riverside gem. Our workshops often take inspiration from the flowing Moselle river and the vibrant local community. 🌊

Fun Fact: Did you know that Grevenmacher is famous for its "Fête du Raisin et du Vin"? We love to see how students incorporate local symbols—like grapes or wine leaves—into their graffiti tags, blending traditional Luxembourgish heritage with modern street art styles. It’s a fantastic way to keep the local culture alive through a fresh, youthful lens! 🍇🔥

Pricing

Our graffiti experiences are designed to be accessible and high-quality. Pricing typically ranges from €35 to €70 per person, depending on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and the specific materials used (such as individual canvases for students to take home). 💶

We don't believe in hidden fees or upfront payments—you only pay once the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied! Whether you are a small local club or a large school in Grevenmacher, we can tailor a package to fit your budget. 🎉
