How does a graffiti workshop actually help prevent vandalism?

Our anti-vandalism workshop in Toulouse is a proactive educational experience. Instead of just lecturing, we provide a hands-on creative outlet. Participants learn about the history of street art, the legal boundaries, and the technical skills required to paint correctly. By giving people a dedicated space to express themselves under the guidance of professionals, we channel that energy into beautiful public art rather than destructive tagging. It’s about building respect for the craft and the community.

Is it safe for participants to use spray paint?

Absolutely not! Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP3 masks, protective overalls, and gloves to every participant. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier to control and produce less fumes than standard hardware store paints. Our artists provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun, worry-free environment for schools, community groups, and private parties throughout the Occitanie region.

Do we need to come to your studio or can you come to us?

While we have a fantastic indoor studio space in Toulouse, we can also bring the workshop to you! We often set up mobile graffiti walls at schools, community centres, or festival grounds. As long as we have a well-ventilated outdoor area or a high-ceilinged indoor space with proper floor protection, we can make the magic happen anywhere in the city, from Saint-Cyprien to Matabiau.

What if I have never used a spray can before?

No skills? No problem! This program is designed specifically for beginners. Our expert artists break down the process into simple, manageable steps—from holding the can to masterfully blending colours. You’ll be amazed at what you can create in just a couple of hours. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, ensuring everyone leaves feeling like a local street art pro, regardless of their prior artistic experience.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard anti-vandalism sessions typically last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This timeframe allows for a brief history of the culture, a safety demo, practice techniques, and the creation of a final masterpiece. If you are looking for a more intensive program for a school or a large-scale community mural, we can extend the duration or spread the project over several days to suit your specific goals.

What should I wear and bring to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. Although we provide full protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can sometimes be a bit messy when you're getting into the flow! Aside from your enthusiasm, you don't need to bring a thing. We provide all the professional spray paint, caps, boards, and safety gear required for the session.

How much does a workshop in Toulouse cost?

We believe in making street art accessible to everyone. Our pricing starts from €30 per person, but the final cost depends on your group size, the location, and the specific materials required. We offer special rates for schools and non-profit community groups in Toulouse. Because every project is unique, we recommend hitting the 'Request a Quote' button so we can give you a transparent, tailormade price for your event.

Safety first: Get geared up in your protective suits, masks, and gloves while we explain how to use the equipment responsibly.
The can control masterclass: Learn the basics—how to create thin lines, fat fills, and how to control the pressure of the spray.
Sketching the vision: Participants brainstorm their designs on paper, focusing on positive community themes.
Outline and fill: Move to the wall or canvas to bring your sketch to life using professional-grade paints.
The art of fading: Our pros show you how to blend colours seamlessly for that iconic 'graffiti' look.
Adding details: Use high-pressure and low-pressure caps to add sharp outlines and highlights that make the art pop.
Final reveal and clean up: Admire the collective masterpiece and ensure the site is left spotless, reinforcing the respect-your-environment ethos.

Local culture

Toulouse is a city defined by its warm terracotta bricks and its pioneering spirit—from aviation to its thriving underground art scene. The city has produced legendary artists and boasts incredible murals in districts like Arnaud Bernard. Our anti-vandalism program in Toulouse taps into this local pride, encouraging participants to contribute to the city's aesthetic rather than detract from it. We often draw inspiration from the Garonne river and the local aeronautics history when planning our designs. 🚀

Fun fact: Toulouse is home to some of the oldest graffiti in France, with historical 'tags' left by prisoners centuries ago in the Couvent des Jacobins! We’re here to make sure the modern version is just as culturally significant!

Pricing

Our workshops are designed to be accessible while providing the highest quality professional materials. Prices for our Toulouse graffiti experiences typically range from €30 to €65 per person. This variation accounts for group size, session length, and whether we come to your location or host you at our creative hub. We love working with schools and community organisations and offer special package rates for social projects. 💶
