Do I need to be artistic to enjoy an indoor graffiti party?

Not at all! Our indoor workshops in Groningen are designed for everyone, from total beginners to closet Picassos. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and ending with a masterpiece. You'll be amazed at what you can create with a spray can in just a couple of hours. It’s all about the experience and having a blast with your mates!

Is an indoor graffiti workshop messy or smelly?

We take care of the mess so you don't have to! For indoor parties, we use specialized floor and wall coverings to ensure the venue stays pristine. We also provide high-quality protective gear for all participants, including overalls, gloves, and masks. Our water-based or low-pressure paints are chose specifically for indoor use to keep the environment safe and comfortable for everyone.

Can you host the workshop at my own venue in Groningen?

Absolutely! While we have amazing partner venues throughout Groningen, we are happy to bring the party to you. If you have a space like a garage, warehouse, or a well-ventilated community hall, our mobile team can set up our professional graffiti walls and protective flooring right there. We’ll just need to check a few safety details with you beforehand to ensure a smooth setup.

What safety measures do you have in place for indoor events?

Safety is our middle name (well, not literally, but it’s close!). We provide all necessary safety equipment, including FFP2 or FFP3 respirator masks, disposable gloves, and full-body protective suits. Our instructors are trained professionals who supervise the entire session to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. We also ensure our indoor spaces have sufficient ventilation for a comfortable and safe creative environment.

How long does a typical indoor graffiti session last?

Typically, our indoor party workshops last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This includes the introductory briefing, practicing your technique, the main creative session where you work on your masterpiece, and a final 'gallery show' where we admire everyone's work. It's the perfect length to get fully immersed in the art world without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

What is included in the price of the workshop?

Everything is included! When you book a Graffitifun experience in Groningen, the price covers the professional instructors, all spray cans, protective clothing, masks, gloves, and the canvases or boards you’ll be painting on. There are no hidden fees. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes (and shoes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on) and bring your enthusiasm!

What is the minimum group size, and how far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially for weekend slots in Groningen which fill up fast. However, we have a large team of backup artists, so even if you have a last-minute request, give us a shout! We always do our best to squeeze you in and make the magic happen. No upfront payment is required to secure your date!

Local culture

Groningen is a city that breathes creativity, from the bold architecture of the Groninger Museum to the hidden gems in the Noorderplantsoen. The street art scene here is thriving, with incredible murals tucked away in the city's charming alleyways and industrial zones like Suikerunie. Our indoor workshops tap into this "Metropolis of the North" spirit, giving you a safe space to experiment with the same techniques used by the artists decorating Groningen's walls. 🎨

Fun fact: Did you know Groningen is home to some of the tallest street art murals in the Netherlands? The city actively supports urban art, making it the perfect backdrop for your own creative journey! 🚀
