Do we need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! Most of our guests have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists are there to guide you every step of the way, from teaching you the basic lines to helping you create your final masterpiece. We focus on fun and creativity rather than technical perfection, ensuring everyone leaves feeling like a street art pro. It’s the perfect leveller for teams of all skill levels!

What should we wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, shoe covers, and gloves, graffiti is a messy art form and a stray spray of paint is always a possibility. Better to leave the designer gear at home for this one and embrace the creative grit!

How long does a typical session last?

A standard company outing in Groningen usually lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This includes the introduction, safety briefing, practice session, and the final creation of your collaborative or individual artworks. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, we can often adjust the duration to fit perfectly into your itinerary.

Can the workshop be held indoors or outdoors?

Yes, we offer both indoor and outdoor options. In Groningen, we have access to fantastic legal street art walls for an authentic vibe, but we can also set up mobile studios at your office or a hired venue using low-odour water-based paints. Please contact us to discuss which location suits your team's needs and the Groningen weather forecast!

What is the maximum group size?

We are incredibly flexible. We host small boutique teams of 10 people and can scale up to large corporate events for over 100 participants. For very large groups, we provide additional artists to ensure everyone receives personal guidance and a great experience. No matter the size of your Groningen squad, we've got you covered.

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We provide FFP2 or FFP3 grade masks to ensure nobody breathes in paint fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our artists are trained in safety protocols and will supervise the group constantly. We also use high-quality paints that meet all European safety standards, so you can focus entirely on having a blast.

Do we need to pay in advance?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'No Cure, No Pay' mentality regarding bookings. You don't have to pay a penny upfront. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. This gives you total peace of mind when planning your company event in the city.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your team in Groningen? Because it’s the ultimate way to boost morale and spark innovation! Here’s why we’re the top choice for your next outing:

Total inclusivity: You don't need to be Banksy to enjoy this. Our workshops are designed so everyone feels comfortable, from the CEO to the intern. 🤝
Stress-free booking: No upfront payment. We trust you, and we’re confident you’ll love the experience. Pay only after the fun finishes!
Professional vibes: Our artists aren't just great with a spray can; they are fantastic hosts who know how to keep a crowd energised. 🎤
Unique souvenirs: Whether you spray on a wall or create individual canvases, your team will have a tangible (and awesome) memory of the day.
Customisable themes: Want to incorporate your company values or a new project launch? We’ll tailor the workshop to your goals. 🚀
All-weather solutions: Rain or shine, we have both indoor and outdoor options across Groningen to keep the creativity flowing.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Meet our local artists at the designated spot in Groningen. We’ll kick things off with a high-energy intro and a brief history of the local street art scene.
Design & brainstorm: Grab some paper and pens! Your team will sketch out ideas, themes, or company logos they want to bring to life on the canvas or wall.
Technique 101: Learn the ropes. We’ll teach you how to control the nozzle, create different line widths, and how to use your body to get those smooth, sweeping strokes.
Practice session: Before the real thing, everyone gets a chance to practice their 'tag' and get a feel for the spray cans on a practice surface.
Outline & fill: Now the real fun starts! You’ll begin sketching your design with paint and filling in the vibrant colours you’ve chosen.
Shadows & highlights: This is where the magic happens. Our artists will show you how to add 3D effects, 'shines', and outlines to make your work pop.
The grand reveal: Step back and admire your team's collective masterpiece. It’s usually the perfect time for a celebratory group photo!
Clean-up & wrap-up: We handle all the messy bits. You head off to your next Groningen destination with a huge smile and a boost in team spirit.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Groningen is a city that breathes youth and creativity, thanks to its massive student population and its rebellious, artistic spirit. From the iconic murals in the Ebbingekwartier to the hidden gems tucked away in the city's narrow 'gangen', Groningen is the perfect backdrop for a street art adventure. Our workshops tap into this local 'Kon minder' (not bad!) attitude, where the focus is on doing rather than just talking. We often host our sessions at inspiring local spots that reflect the city's gritty yet welcoming vibe. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Groninger Museum is itself a work of art? While we won't be spraying its walls, the city's bold architectural and artistic choices make it one of the most vibrant places in the Netherlands for a creative company outing! 🏛️

Pricing

Our pricing for a graffiti company outing in Groningen is as flexible as our art. Depending on the size of your group and the specific setup (like whether we come to you or use a city wall), prices range from:

Because every company outing is unique, we want to make sure you get the best deal for your specific needs. No hidden fees, and remember: you only pay after the workshop! 💸
