Do I need any previous art experience to enjoy the showroom?

Absolutely! Most of our visitors in Groningen have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are there to guide you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. We provide a safe, supportive environment where mistakes are just part of the creative process. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can create something that looks genuinely professional under our expert wing.

What should I wear to a graffiti showroom session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and masks, graffiti can sometimes be a bit unpredictable! Think 'casual and practical' rather than 'runway ready.' This way, you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about your favourite designer shirt.

Is the spray paint safe to use indoors?

Safety is our top priority at Graffitifun. We use high-quality spray paints and provide professional-grade FFP-type masks, nitrile gloves, and protective suits for every participant. Our showroom in Groningen is equipped with proper ventilation systems to ensure a constant flow of fresh air. Our instructors also provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a worry-free experience for everyone.

How long does a typical session last?

Standard showroom experiences usually last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, some practice on the 'training wall,' and then dedicated time to work on your final canvas or mural piece. If you are booking for a larger corporate group or a special brand event, we can customise the duration to fit your specific schedule.

Can I take my artwork home with me?

Yes! When you work on a personal canvas or a portable board during the showroom experience, you get to take your artwork home. It’s the perfect souvenir to hang in your office or living room. For larger collective murals, we can discuss options for transporting the panels to your location, or we can provide high-resolution digital photos of the finished work.

What happens if I need to cancel or change my booking?

We are incredibly flexible! Unlike many other providers, we don't require upfront payments. You can settle the bill after the workshop. Furthermore, we always have backup artists on standby. This means that even if an instructor falls ill, your event in Groningen will still go ahead as planned. We take the stress out of planning so you can focus on the fun.

Local culture

Groningen is a city that pulses with youthful energy, thanks in no small part to its massive student population and its legendary "niets gaat boven Groningen" (nothing tops Groningen) attitude. The street art scene here is thriving, with hidden gems tucked away in the Ebbingekwartier and colourful murals brightening up the city's brick walls. Our showroom experience taps directly into this local 'Stad' spirit.

Street art fun fact: Did you know Groningen is home to the 'Groninger Museum,' an architectural masterpiece that looks like a piece of art itself? The city has a long history of embracing the unconventional, making it the perfect backdrop for your own graffiti journey! 🏛️✨

From the Grote Markt to the quiet canals, Groningen inspires creativity. We bring that outdoor excitement into a controlled, professional environment where you can let loose without worrying about the weather (because let's be honest, it rains a bit here!).
