Is the paint safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! We use special low-odour spray cans designed for educational settings and provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits for every student. Our professional artists are trained to manage large groups of energetic kids, ensuring everyone stays safe while having the time of their lives. Safety is our number one priority in every Groningen school session.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

We usually recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for primary schools. This gives the pupils enough time to learn the basic strokes, practice their 'tag', and complete a final masterpiece without losing focus. We can easily adjust the timing to fit into your specific school timetable or project day requirements.

Do we need to travel to a studio, or do you come to our school?

We can host the workshop right at your school in Groningen! We bring mobile wooden panels or use large plastic sheets to protect your walls and floors. If you'd prefer an off-site experience, we can often arrange a trip to a legal graffiti zone in the city. We are totally flexible to make it work for your location.

Do the students need any prior drawing skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our artists break down the techniques into simple, easy-to-follow steps that even the youngest students can master. It's all about boosting confidence and showing kids that everyone has a creative side, regardless of their previous experience with art or drawing.

What is your payment policy for schools?

We understand that school budgets and plans can change. One of the best things about Graffitifun is that you don't have to pay anything upfront. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the results before any invoice is settled. We believe in total transparency.

Will our school playground be covered in permanent paint?

No way! We take care of everything. We cover the work area with protective foil or boards, and our artists handle the entire setup and cleanup process. Your school's premises will be left exactly as we found them, just with some very happy kids and some amazing new pieces of art to show for it.

Local culture

Groningen is a city that breathes creativity, from the iconic Groninger Museum to the hidden street art gems found in the narrow 'gangetjes' of the city centre. It’s a place where tradition meets a bold, modern edge, making it the perfect backdrop for a graffiti workshop. We love bringing this urban energy to local schools, connecting students with the contemporary culture that surrounds them every day in the North.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Groningen is home to some of the most famous legal graffiti walls in the Netherlands? The city has a long history of supporting street artists, proving that art belongs to everyone, not just those in galleries! 🏙️
