Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints that are safe for outdoor use, and we provide all pupils with protective suits, gloves, and masks. Our professional artists are experts at managing large groups of energetic kids, ensuring everyone follows safety protocols while having the time of their lives. Safety is our number one priority alongside having fun!

Where in Tilburg does the workshop take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds in Tilburg using our mobile canvases, or we can arrange a session at a cool local legal graffiti spot. If the weather doesn't play ball, we have indoor solutions using water-based pens or special boards, though the real spray-can experience is best enjoyed outdoors.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard primary school workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief introduction, a practice session, and the creation of the final masterpiece. We can also adapt the timing to fit into your specific school schedule or project week requirements.

Do the children get to keep their artwork?

The best part is that everyone gets to be an artist! For individual canvases, the kids can take their artwork home on the same day once it's dry. If the class works together on a large communal mural, the school gets to keep it to brighten up a hallway or the playground!

Do the pupils need any prior drawing or painting skills?

None at all! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our artists guide the pupils through every step, from holding the can correctly to filling in shapes. It’s all about building confidence and showing the kids that everyone has a creative side, regardless of their previous experience with art.

What should the students wear on the day?

We recommend that kids wear 'play clothes' or old trainers. While we provide full-body protective suits, graffiti paint is designed to stay put, and a little 'overspray' can sometimes find its way onto shoes or sleeves. It’s better to be safe than sorry when dealing with vibrant colours!

Do we need to pay in advance for the school workshop?

We believe in transparency and trust. You don't have to pay anything upfront when booking your primary school workshop in Tilburg. We send the invoice after the workshop has been successfully completed and everyone is happy with the results. This ensures you get exactly what you promised for your students.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your primary school students in Tilburg? It’s more than just painting; it’s a boost for their development! Here’s why schools love working with us:

Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant, colourful creation finished in just a couple of hours gives kids a massive sense of achievement! 🏆
Encourages teamwork: Working on a shared mural helps pupils communicate and cooperate in a way they don't always do in the classroom. 🤝
Safe & professional: Our artists are used to working with kids and use only the best, safest equipment. 🛡️
Hands-on learning: It’s a tactile, physical way to learn about colours, shapes, and perspective. ✨
Zero stress for teachers: We handle everything from setup to cleanup. You just sit back and watch the magic happen! 🎉
Local Tilburg pride: We connect the workshop to the local street art scene, making it relevant to the kids' own surroundings. 🦁

Step by step

Introduction & safety briefing: Our Dutch street artists introduce themselves and explain the history of graffiti in a kid-friendly way. No boring lectures here!
Gear up: Every student gets fitted with a protective overall, gloves, and a mask to stay clean and safe while they paint.
The first spray: We head to the canvases where the kids learn basic techniques, like how to control the pressure of the nozzle and draw simple lines.
Design phase: Students brainstorm their ideas. Whether it's their name, a school mascot, or a nature theme, we help them sketch it out.
Colour explosion: This is the best part! Pupils choose from a rainbow of professional spray cans to fill in their designs with vibrant colours.
Adding detail: Our artists show the kids how to add outlines, glows, and highlights to make their artwork really 'pop' off the wall.
The grand reveal: We take a moment to look at everyone's hard work. It's a huge confidence booster for the kids to see what they've created together.
Clean up & wrap up: We pack up all the gear, ensuring the school grounds are left exactly as we found them, leaving only the art behind!

Local culture

Tilburg is a city that breathes creativity, from the famous TextielMuseum to the industrial-cool vibes of the Spoorzone. It’s a place where tradition meets modern innovation, and street art is a huge part of that transformation! You can find incredible murals scattered throughout the city, cooling down the urban heat with splashes of colour.

Fun Fact: Did you know Tilburg hosts 'The Urban Explorers Festival'? This celebrates all things street culture, showing that our city is a true hub for "Brabantse" creativity!

By bringing a graffiti workshop to your primary school, you’re connecting your students to this local Tilburg culture. We might even find inspiration from the famous 'Kruikenzeiker' spirit or the local nature spots like the Moerenburg. Whether your school is in Reeshof, Korvel, or the city centre, we bring the Tilburg street art vibe right to your doorstep!

Pricing

Our workshop prices are tailored to your school's needs, specifically designed to be affordable for educational budgets. Prices generally range from €25 to €55 per person, depending on the number of pupils and the duration of the session.

The best part? No upfront payment is required! We believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is done. This makes the administrative process simple for schools and ensures 100% satisfaction.
