Is the graffiti workshop safe for all ages?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority in Obuasi. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone clean and safe. Our professional artists supervise every spray, ensuring a controlled environment. We also use low-odour, professional-grade paints that are easier on the senses, making the experience comfortable for participants of all ages and skill levels during your charity event.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our expert street artists will guide your guests through the basics, from holding the can to creating complex shapes. By the time the fundraiser is over, even those who thought they couldn't draw a stick figure will be amazed at the masterpiece they've helped create on the streets of Obuasi.

Where in Obuasi will the event take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the event at your specific charity location in Obuasi, a local community centre, or even outdoors in a permitted public space. If you don't have a venue, let us know – we have experience scouting the best spots in the Ashanti region to ensure your fundraiser has the perfect backdrop and enough room for everyone.

How long does a typical charity graffiti session last?

Our charity workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a fun introduction, some practice runs, and the completion of a large-scale collaborative mural. We can adjust the timing to fit into your wider event schedule, ensuring the graffiti session provides maximum impact without overrunning your programme.

What materials do we need to provide?

We believe in hassle-free planning for our partners. Graffitifun provides everything: premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear, canvases or wall surfaces, and professional artist instruction. You just need to bring the energy and the cause! We handle the setup and the cleanup, so you can focus on your fundraising goals.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! If we are planning an outdoor mural in Obuasi and the weather turns, we can often move the session under a marquee or to a covered indoor area using canvases. Because we have backup artists and a flexible team, we always work with you to find a solution that keeps the creative spirit alive.

Local culture

Obuasi is a city with deep roots and a glittering history, known worldwide for its gold. But we believe there's another kind of treasure here: the incredible creative potential of its people! By bringing a graffiti workshop to the Ashanti region, you’re tapping into a modern, urban energy that complements the local traditional culture. From the bustling streets near the central market to the quieter community spaces, our street art events create a lasting visual legacy that the whole neighbourhood can be proud of.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Obuasi is home to one of the world's largest underground gold mines? Our "Golden Glow" spray paint is always a popular choice here to pay homage to the city's rich heritage! ✨

While we love working in Obuasi, we also bring our creative flair to other Ghanaian hubs. If you have partners in Accra, Kumasi, Tamale, or Takoradi, we can coordinate multi-city campaigns to spread your charity's message across the nation!
