Do students need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! No prior art experience is needed to have a blast. Our professional Denver graffiti artists are experts at breaking down the basics, from how to hold the spray can to masterfully blending colors. We focus on fun and expression, ensuring every student walks away feeling like a pro, regardless of their starting skill level. It's all about the experience!

Is the workshop safe for kids and teenagers?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier to control, and our workshops take place in well-ventilated outdoor or semi-outdoor spaces. Plus, our experienced instructors supervise every single spray to ensure a safe, creative environment for all participants.

What should my child wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. While we provide full protective gear including suits and gloves, sometimes a stray mist of "creative spirit" can find its way onto your sneakers. It’s best to dress down so you can focus entirely on your masterpiece without worrying about your wardrobe!

What materials are included in the price?

We’ve got you covered! We provide everything needed for a legendary session: a wide variety of premium spray paint colors, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), practice boards or canvases, and expert instruction. You just need to bring your energy and imagination. We even handle the setup and the cleanup, making it a stress-free experience for parents and organizers.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

Our standard school holiday workshops in Denver typically run between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives students enough time to learn the history of street art, practice their techniques, and complete a final piece they can be proud of. We find this is the "sweet spot" for maintaining high energy and focus while ensuring everyone finishes their project.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

If the Colorado weather doesn't cooperate, don't worry! We have several options. We can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. Alternatively, we can reschedule the session to another day during the break. We stay in close contact with you leading up to the event to ensure the plan is solid.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Denver is a global hotspot for street art, with neighborhoods like RiNo (River North Art District) serving as a massive outdoor gallery. Our workshops soak up this local energy, drawing inspiration from the murals that line Larimer Street and the hidden gems in the alleys of the Art District on Santa Fe. We don't just teach art; we connect students to the vibrant "Mile High" creative culture that makes Denver unique. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know Denver hosts "Crush Walls" (now Denver Walls), one of the largest street art festivals in the world? People travel from across the globe just to see the murals your kids will be learning to emulate!
