The experience

Why choose Graffitifun for your Lille school group? Because we turn "I can't draw" into "Look what I made!" in just two hours. 🚀

  • Boosts confidence: Seeing a giant 2-metre tag come to life gives students a massive sense of achievement.
  • Professional artists: Our team isn't just "good at art"—they are pros who know how to manage and inspire teenagers.
  • Cultural education: We teach the history of street art, from New York subways to the galleries of Lille.
  • Zero stress for teachers: We bring all the gear, handle the mess, and ensure everyone stays safe and engaged.
  • Great for teamwork: Our collaborative murals require students to communicate and co-create on a large scale.
  • Flexible & Mobile: We can set up in your school car park or at a cool local street art spot—the choice is yours!

Step by step

  1. Introduction & safety briefing: We kick things off with a high-energy intro to graffiti culture and a vital safety talk. Students get fitted with their masks and gear.
  2. The art of the tag: Students start by learning the basics of lettering and 'tagging' on paper to understand flow and style.
  3. Spray can mastery: Our pros demonstrate finger control, distance, and pressure. Students practice their first lines on a practice wall.
  4. Concept sketching: The group works together or individually to sketch out their final masterpiece, choosing colours and 'wildstyle' elements.
  5. Outline and fill: Time for the main event! Students move to the big canvases or walls to spray their outlines and fill them with vibrant colours.
  6. Shadows and highlights: We teach the tricks of the trade—adding 3D effects, 'force fields', and highlights to make the art pop.
  7. The final outline: The most satisfying part! Using a steady hand to add the final dark outline that brings the whole piece together.
  8. Group photo and review: We celebrate the creativity with a group photo in front of the finished work, followed by a quick cleanup.

Local culture

Street art in Lille

Lille is a hidden gem in the European street art scene. From the vibrant murals in the Moulins district to the ever-evolving walls of La Condition Publique in nearby Roubaix, the "Capital of Flanders" breathes urban culture. Our workshops draw inspiration from the city's unique mix of Flemish architecture and modern industrial vibes. We often take students to see local landmarks for inspiration before they start spraying! 🧱

Fun Fact: Lille hosts the 'Biennale d'Art Mural', an event that has turned dozens of dull city walls into giant outdoor galleries. By participating in a Graffitifun workshop, your students are joining a long-standing local tradition of public expression!

Pricing

Our graffiti workshops are designed to be accessible and high-value for schools. Prices typically range from €30 to €65 per student.

Please note that the final price depends on the number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and the location. We offer special discounts for larger school groups!

No upfront payment: You only pay via invoice after the workshop is complete. ✨
