Step by step

  1. The big intro: We start with a high-energy introduction to the world of graffiti, its history, and the 'rules of the street'.
  2. Safety first: Every student gets kitted out in protective gear—suits, gloves, and masks—followed by a safety demonstration.
  3. Sketching the vision: Students grab paper and pencils to brainstorm their tags and designs, learning about letter structure.
  4. Can control 101: We move to the wall (or film) to practice basic lines, dots, and pressure control to get a feel for the spray cans.
  5. The outline phase: Following their sketches, students begin the 'first outline' of their artwork on the large-scale surface.
  6. Adding the 'fill': This is where the colour comes in! Students learn filling techniques and how to blend different shades for a vibrant look.
  7. Detailing & 3D: Our artists show the group how to add shadows, highlights, and that iconic 'final outline' that makes the art pop.
  8. The grand reveal: We step back, admire the massive group mural, and take plenty of photos of the creative result.
  9. Clean up: We pack up all materials and ensure the site is left spotless, leaving only the memories and the art behind.

Local culture

Street art in Sillamae

Sillamäe is a city with an incredible architectural identity, known for its grand Stalinist-style buildings and the beautiful steps leading down to the sea. This unique backdrop makes it an inspiring place for young creatives to explore the contrast between classical structure and modern urban art. There’s something special about bringing the vibrant, colourful energy of graffiti to a city with such a distinct history! 🏛️

Fun Fact: Did you know Sillamäe was a 'closed city' for decades? Today, it’s wide open to creativity, and we love helping the local youth add a new, modern chapter to the city's artistic story through street art. ✨
