Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to those with a creative flair. Our professional artists will guide your university group through every step, starting with basic spray can control and moving on to more complex lettering and shading. We focus on the fun and the experience, so just bring your energy and we will handle the rest!

What materials are included in the university workshop?

We provide everything you need for a legendary session. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, protective masks, gloves, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvas or wall space for your masterpiece. Just make sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

We are very flexible! Most university workshops in Klaipeda last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives you enough time to learn the history of street art, practice your skills, and finish a collaborative group mural. If you have a specific schedule or a tight deadline between lectures, let us know and we can tailor the duration to fit your timetable.

How does the payment process work and is it secure?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'no-risk' booking policy for university groups. You don't need to pay anything upfront; you simply pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy. We also have backup artists available, so even if an instructor is ill, your event will still go ahead as planned. We value your trust!

Is the spray paint safe and what safety gear is provided?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and provide all necessary safety gear, including high-quality respiratory masks and gloves. Our workshops are usually held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated street art zones. Our instructors are also trained to manage groups safely while ensuring everyone has a blast and stays protected throughout the creative process.

Can you accommodate large student groups or societies?

We love large groups! Whether you are a small student society or a whole faculty, we can accommodate you. For very large university events, we bring in multiple professional artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and enough 'can-time'. We can split the group into teams to work on different sections of a giant mural, making it a fantastic mass-collaboration project.

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: Meet your pro artist and get kitted out in protective gear. We start with a quick safety briefing and an intro to the culture of street art.
Concept Sketching: Grab a marker and some paper! We help you brainstorm your 'tag' or a collective design that represents your university department or student club.
Spray Can Basics: Learn the 'can-control'—how to hold the spray, adjust pressure, and master different nozzles (caps) for thin lines or fat fills.
First Strokes: Time to hit the wall! You'll start by practicing basic shapes and gradients to get a feel for the paint's flow and layering.
Outline & Layering: Move on to the main piece. You'll learn how to build up layers of colour and create that classic 3D graffiti effect.
Detailing & Highlights: The pros show you how to add those final 'pops'—white highlights and sharp outlines that make your artwork stand out.
Collaborative Finale: Work together as a team to blend your individual styles into one massive, cohesive university mural.
Photo Op & Cleanup: Strike a pose in front of your creation! We take care of all the waste disposal while you enjoy the glory of your new masterpiece.

Local culture

Klaipeda isn't just about the scenic Baltic coast and the historic Memel architecture; it's a city with a growing urban pulse. From the artistic vibes around the Klaipeda Culture Communication Centre (KKKC) to the hidden murals tucked away in the backstreets of the Old Town, street art is woven into the city's modern identity. Hosting a workshop here allows students to tap into that maritime-meets-modern aesthetic.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Klaipeda is home to dozens of 'talking' sculptures and hidden street art gems? Taking your university group out to spray is the perfect way to add your own modern chapter to the city's rich visual history! ⚓✨

If you are visiting from nearby cities like Vilnius or Kaunas, Klaipeda offers a unique, breezy atmosphere that is perfect for outdoor creative sessions. We love working with students at Klaipeda University and other local colleges to bring more colour to the coast!
