How long does a typical university graffiti workshop last?

Most of our university workshops in Vilnius last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group enough time to learn the basic strokes, practice their 'tag' on paper, and then move on to the big finale: painting a collective mural or individual canvases. If you have a tighter schedule for a student union event, we can adapt the timing to fit your specific needs!

Do students need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can barely draw a stick figure to fine arts students. Our professional artists guide you through every step, teaching you spray can control and layering techniques. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at the professional-looking street art you've managed to create together. It's all about the experience and having fun.

What safety gear is provided during the workshop?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also use low-pressure spray cans which are much easier to control for beginners. Our instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a creative environment that is both fun and completely safe for all participants.

Where in Vilnius do these workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at various legal graffiti spots across Vilnius, or we can bring the experience directly to your campus if you have a suitable outdoor space. If the Lithuanian weather isn't playing ball, we also have access to indoor studios or can set up mobile plastic walls in large halls to ensure the paint only goes where it's supposed to.

Can this work as a team-building activity for student societies?

Absolutely! Graffiti is a brilliant team-building tool. For university groups, we often facilitate 'collaborative murals' where students must work together to create a cohesive piece of art. This encourages communication, problem-solving, and shared pride in a final product. It's a fantastic way for first-year students to bond or for student societies to celebrate a successful semester.

What do we need to provide as organisers?

We take care of almost everything! We provide the spray paint, caps, safety gear, and the 'canvas' (whether that’s a wall or wooden panels). All we recommend is that students wear old shoes and comfortable clothing that they don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. We even bring some music to keep the creative energy high while everyone paints!

Why should our university choose Graffitifun over other activities?

Graffitifun is unique because we focus on the authentic street art experience led by real artists. We don't require upfront payments, which makes organizing student events much less stressful. Plus, we always have backup artists ready to go, so your event will never be cancelled. Our focus is 100% on your satisfaction and ensuring every student leaves with a smile and a new skill.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next university event? It’s unconventional, it’s cool, and it’s something your students will be talking about for the rest of the semester. Here’s why we’re the top choice in Lithuania:

Authentic Street Cred: Learn from real artists who are active in the Vilnius urban art scene. 🎤
Zero Stress Booking: No upfront payment needed—we trust you, and you can pay after the fun is done.
Inclusivity First: No artistic "talent" required; we make sure everyone feels like a pro by the end of the day. ✨
Unbeatable Value: Professional materials and expert instruction at student-friendly prices.
Team Spirit: Nothing builds a bond like creating a giant piece of art together in the heart of the city. 🏆
Reliability: With backup artists on standby, your event happens no matter what!

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: Meet your pro artist guide and learn the essential safety rules for using spray paint effectively.
Sketching Your Vision: Grab a marker and paper to brainstorm your designs, focusing on 'tags', 'throw-ups', and letter structure.
Can Control 101: Learn the 'anatomy' of a spray can, including how different caps change the thickness and texture of your lines.
The First Layer: Head to the wall or canvas to apply your background colours, learning how to blend and fade like a pro.
Outline & Fill: Move on to the main event! Sketch your letters onto the surface and fill them in with vibrant, high-pressure shades.
Details & Highlights: Add the finishing touches—think 'force fields', shines, and 3D shadows—to make your piece pop off the wall.
The Crew Photo: Once the masterpiece is complete, we'll take high-quality photos of the group and individual work for your social media.
Clean Up: We pack up all the gear and leave the site spotless, leaving you with nothing but great memories (and maybe a canvas or two).

Local culture

Vilnius is a city that wears its heart on its walls. From the legendary "Open Gallery" in the Naujamiestis district to the bohemian vibes of Užupis, the city is a living museum of urban expression. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, giving students a chance to contribute to the city's creative energy. We often host sessions near the iconic legal walls where local legends leave their mark daily. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Vilnius has a self-declared 'independent republic' called Užupis? It even has its own constitution which states: "Everyone has the right to be unique." We think that's the perfect philosophy for a graffiti workshop!

Pricing

Our university packages are designed to be affordable while delivering a premium experience. Prices typically range from €18 to €38 per person, depending on the number of participants and the specific setup of your workshop (e.g., individual canvases vs. a large collective wall). 💶

Because every student event is unique, we’d love to help you build the perfect package for your budget. No upfront payment is required, and we guarantee a stress-free booking process!
