How long does a youth graffiti workshop last?

Our youth workshops in Panevėžys typically last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives the group enough time to learn the basic safety rules, practice their spray tech on a practice wall, and eventually collaborate on a large-scale project. We can also adapt the timing for shorter sessions or multi-day intensive projects if you have a specific schedule to stick to!

Do the participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who can't draw a stick figure to budding Picassos. Our professional artists guide the youth through every step, starting with simple tagging and moving up to complex pieces. It’s all about the experience, having fun, and feeling that rush of pride when you see your finished work on the wall.

What safety measures do you take during the workshop?

Safety is our biggest priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, disposable gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and produce less fumes. Our instructors are also trained to manage groups safely in an outdoor or well-ventilated indoor environment. Plus, we're fully insured for your peace of mind.

Do we need to pay in advance?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our 'play now, pay later' policy. You don't need to make any upfront payments to secure your date in Panevėžys. We trust our community and want to make the booking process as stress-free as possible for youth leaders and organisers. Once the workshop is completed and you're happy, we'll handle the invoice.

Where do the workshops take place in Panevėžys?

We can set up almost anywhere! We often work in public spaces approved by the municipality, youth centres, or even school grounds. If you don't have a location, we can help find a suitable legal wall in Panevėžys. We also have mobile spray walls that we can bring to your specific event location, provided there is enough ventilation.

Can the workshop have a specific theme?

Absolutely. We believe street art is a powerful tool for social change. We can tailor the workshop to focus on specific themes like community, climate change, or local history. This makes the session even more impactful for youth groups, as they aren't just painting—they're communicating a message that matters to them and their city.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Lithuanian weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered. If the forecast looks bad, we can either move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. If neither is available, we can reschedule the event for a sunnier day at no extra cost. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event never gets cancelled.

The experience

Why choose a Graffitifun workshop for your next youth initiative? It’s more than just painting; it's about building a stronger community. 🏆

Build Confidence: Watching a blank wall transform into a masterpiece gives young people a massive sense of achievement and pride.
Learn Teamwork: Huge murals require coordination. We teach youth how to work together, communicate, and support each other's creative ideas. 🤝
Safe & Professional: We offer a 100% "no-stress" guarantee. With backup artists and top-tier safety gear, your project is in safe hands.
No Money Upfront: We make it easy for NGOs and schools to book—you only pay once the workshop is done and everyone is smiling.
Authentic Artist Interaction: Our instructors aren't just teachers; they are active street artists who share real-world skills and stories. 🎨
Flexible & Mobile: We can come to you anywhere in Panevėžys or even set up in cities like Vilnius, Kaunas, or Siauliai.

Step by step

Introduction & Safety: We start with a high-energy intro. Our artists explain the history of graffiti and go over the essential safety rules for using spray paint. ✨
Gear Up: Everyone gets fitted with protective suits, gloves, and masks. We make sure the youth look like pro street artists before they even touch a can!
The First Tag: We teach the basics of 'tagging'—the foundation of all graffiti. Participants practice their handstyle on cardboard or practice walls to get a feel for the pressure.
Technique Masterclass: Our pros demonstrate 'fading', 'outlining', and 'shading'. The group learns how to control the nozzle to create different effects and widths. 🎨
Sketching the Mural: Using the chosen theme, the group collaborates on a rough sketch. This step encourages teamwork and shared creative vision.
Filling the Piece: This is the loud and colourful part! The youth work together to fill in the large-scale mural, applying the techniques they just learned. 🔥
The Final Outline: To make the artwork pop, our artists help the participants add sharp outlines and highlights. The transformation is always incredible!
Photo Op & Cleanup: We celebrate the masterpiece with a group photo session. Then, we ensure the site is left spotless, teaching the importance of respecting the environment.

Local culture

Panevėžys is a city with a gritty industrial soul that is being beautifully transformed by the next generation of creatives. Known for its strong theatrical traditions and its history as a manufacturing hub, the city provides the perfect "raw" backdrop for street art. We love bringing our workshops here because the youth in Panevėžys have a unique energy and a desire to add some colour to their urban landscape. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know Panevėžys is often called the "Lietuvos Čikaga" (Lithuanian Chicago)? While it once referred to its industrial might, today's youth are reclaiming that title by bringing big-city urban culture and vibrant street art to the streets of Aukštaitija! 🎤

From the banks of the Nevėžis river to the creative hubs popping up in old factory spaces, Panevėžys is ripe for artistic exploration. Our workshops help young locals see their city through a different lens—one where every wall is a potential canvas for positive change.

Pricing

We believe that high-quality creative experiences should be accessible. Our pricing is flexible based on the number of participants and the specific goals of your youth project. 💰

Price Range: €18 - €38 per person (all-inclusive)
