How it works

  1. Warm welcome: Our professional artist arrives at your Differdange location and sets up the creative zone.
  2. Artist demo: We start with a cool demonstration of different graffiti techniques and spray can control.
  3. Safety first: Every 'crew member' gets kitted out in protective gear (suits, masks, and gloves).
  4. Sketching session: The kids grab pens and paper to brainstorm their 'tags' and design their masterpieces.
  5. First lines: Time to pick up the cans! We start with practice strokes on a test area to get the feel of the pressure.
  6. Creation phase: The birthday boy or girl and their friends start filling in their designs with vibrant colours.
  7. Finishing touches: Our artist helps with outlines and highlights to make the artwork really 'pop'.
  8. Photo op: We take a group photo with the finished wall to capture the memories forever.

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants in Differdange with high-quality protective gear, including gloves, masks, and overalls. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for kids to handle, and our professional artists provide constant supervision and guidance throughout the entire process. We've hosted hundreds of parties and maintain a 100% safety record while ensuring every child has a blast.

How long does a birthday workshop stay?

Usually, our birthday workshops in Differdange last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' where kids stay fully engaged without getting tired. We start with a brief history and technique demo, move into sketching and practicing, and finish with the main event: creating their own masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule in mind, we can often adjust the timing to fit your party plans.

Where in Differdange can the workshop take place?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you want to host the party in your own backyard, a local park, or one of our partner creative spaces in Luxembourg, we can make it work. We use mobile plastic walls or canvases to ensure we don't leave a mess on any permanent structures. If you aren't sure where to host it, just ask us for some local Differdange recommendations!

Do the kids need any prior drawing or painting experience?

No artistic talent is required at all! Our professional street artists are experts at teaching complete beginners. We guide the kids through every step, from holding the can correctly to creating cool effects like drips and fades. The goal of a Graffitifun birthday party is to have fun and express yourself – we find that every child walks away proud of what they've created.

What is the ideal age for a graffiti birthday party?

We generally recommend our graffiti parties for children aged 6 and up. At this age, they usually have the hand strength to press the spray caps and the focus to follow the artist's instructions. For teenagers, we ramp up the technical difficulty to keep them challenged and engaged. If you have a mixed-age group, our artists are great at tailoring their teaching style to suit everyone.

What materials are included in the birthday package?

We provide everything needed for a successful street art experience! This includes a wide variety of professional spray paint colours, caps, sketching materials, masks, gloves, and protective suits. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that's a communal plastic wall or individual boards the kids can take home. You just need to bring the cake, the kids, and plenty of energy!

What happens if we need to cancel or change the date?

We understand that plans can change! That's why we don't require any upfront payment. You can book your date and pay after the workshop is completed. Additionally, we have backup artists available to ensure your party goes ahead even if an emergency arises. We aim to make the planning process as stress-free as possible for parents in Differdange.

What should the birthday guests wear to the event?

While we provide protective overalls, we always suggest that kids wear 'play clothes' and old trainers that you don't mind getting a little dusty. Graffiti involves paint, and while we take every precaution, it's best to be prepared for the occasional splash! It's all part of the authentic artist experience. In colder months, we recommend wearing layers as most workshops take place outdoors or in ventilated spaces.
