How it works

Introduction & Safety: We kick things off with a high-energy intro about the history of graffiti and a vital safety briefing. 🛡️
Design Brainstorming: Students work together to sketch out their ideas and choose a theme or 'tag' for their project.
Can Control 101: We teach the basics—distance, speed, and pressure—so everyone feels comfortable with the spray can. 🎨
Outline & Sketching: Putting the first lines onto the surface, turning those sketches into large-scale outlines.
Filling & Colouring: This is where the magic happens! Students learn blending techniques to make their work pop.
The 'High-Light': Adding those professional finishing touches, like sharp 3D effects and bright highlights. ✨
Refining Details: Our pros help the students clean up their edges for a masterpiece look.
The Grand Reveal: A final group walkthrough to admire the collective work and take epic photos. 📸
Clean Up: We ensure the site is left tidy, and students head back with a huge sense of achievement!

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for school students?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide all students with high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. We only use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and much safer for beginners. Our professional street artists are trained to supervise large groups in Eindhoven, ensuring that everyone follows the safety protocols while having a blast. It’s a controlled environment where the only thing that runs wild is their imagination!

Where in Eindhoven do the school workshops take place?

We can host the workshop at your school premises in Eindhoven if you have a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area with high ceilings. Alternatively, we have several cool, legal graffiti spots and studio locations around the city where students can experience the authentic street art vibe. We’re flexible! Just let us know your preference, and we’ll handle the logistics to make it happen for your group.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Our school workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives the students enough time to learn the history of street art, practice their techniques, and complete their final masterpiece. If you have a specific school schedule to stick to, we can easily tailor the duration to fit into your lesson blocks or activity days without rushing the creative process.

What is the minimum age for students?

We recommend our school workshops for students aged 10 and up. At this age, they have the physical coordination to handle the spray cans and the creative maturity to engage with the design process. However, we can adapt the programme for slightly younger groups using alternative materials. Whether it's primary school leavers or high school teens, we adjust our coaching style to match their energy and level.

Do the students need any prior drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our artists start with the basics—how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create simple lines. We guide them step-by-step from a blank wall to a finished piece of art. It’s amazing to see students who think they aren't 'artistic' discover a hidden talent and gain a massive boost in confidence by the end of the session.

How does the payment process work for schools?

For school bookings, we offer the ultimate flexibility: no upfront payment is required! You can book your date and confirm the details, and payment is only handled after the workshop has been successfully completed. This makes the administrative process much easier for schools and educational departments. We want the focus to be on the students' experience, not on paperwork and prepayments.

What should the students wear on the day?

We suggest students wear old clothes and sneakers that they don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be a messy business when the creativity starts flowing! It’s all part of the fun. In Eindhoven's weather, it’s also a good idea to bring an extra layer if we are working at an outdoor location.
