How it works

The intro: Meet your pro artist and get the low-down on the history of street art in the Czech Republic.
Safety first: Get geared up in your overalls, gloves, and masks. We’ll show you how to handle the gear safely.
Can control: Learn the 'anatomy' of a spray can. Practice dots, lines, and different nozzles (caps) to see how they change your stroke.
Sketching: Grab the chalk and outline your design on the wall or canvas. Our artists will help you with proportions and letter flow.
The fill: This is where the colour happens! Learn how to fill in large areas smoothly without those annoying drips.
Outlining: Trace back over your lines to make your piece pop. This is where the graffiti really starts to look sharp.
Highlights & shadows: Add the 3D effects and 'shines' that give your work depth and a professional finish.
The reveal: Step back, take the ultimate group photo with your masterpiece, and celebrate your new skills!

Frequently asked questions

Where in Plzen do the university workshops take place?

Plzen is famously a university city, and we pride ourselves on being fully mobile. While we have preferred creative spots near the city centre, we can often bring the workshop directly to your campus or a nearby designated legal wall. We handle all the logistics and permits, so you just need to turn up with your creative energy ready to go.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely not! Our professional artists specialize in teaching absolute beginners. We start with the basics—how to hold the can, pressure control, and simple lines—before moving on to complex filling techniques and shadowing. You will be amazed at how professional your piece looks by the end of the session, even if you have never touched a spray can before.

What safety measures and gear do you provide?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. We use low-pressure spray paint which is easier to control and safer for beginners. Our instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone starts spraying, ensuring a fun and injury-free environment for everyone involved.

How long does a typical session last?

The standard university workshop lasts between 1.5 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows for a full introduction, practice time on 'trial' boards, and the creation of a final masterpiece. We can also adapt the schedule to fit into a specific lecture gap or as part of a larger multi-day student festival or orientation week schedule.

What happens if it rains on the day of our workshop?

Rain doesn't have to stop the fun! We always look for locations with some cover, or we can arrange indoor sessions using specialized water-based, low-odour spray cans that are safe for ventilated indoor use. If the weather looks truly terrible, our backup artist system ensures we can reschedule or pivot to an alternative plan without losing the 'vibe' of your event.

Can we book this for a very large group of students?

We work with groups of all sizes! Whether you are a small student society of 10 people or an entire faculty department of 100+, we have the staff and equipment to scale up. For very large groups, we often set up a 'rotating' station or a massive collaborative mural where everyone contributes to a single, giant piece of university pride.
