How it works

Initial creative consultation: We chat about your goals for the youth project in Riga and find a date that works for your group.
Design brainstorming: Participants can use our online Tag Creator to start thinking about styles and colours before the day.
Safety first: When we meet, we start with a full briefing and get everyone suited up in protective gear and masks. ✨
Mastering the tools: Our pro artists demonstrate 'can control'—teaching the group how to adjust pressure and distance for different effects.
The 'First Lines' practice: Everyone gets a chance to practice basic shapes and lines on a practice wall to build their confidence.
Collaborative sketching: We move to the main project area, sketching out the large-scale design that the group will bring to life. 🔥
Filling and fading: This is where the magic happens! The group works together to fill in the colours and create professional-looking gradients.
The final outline: Our artists help with the sharp 'power lines' to make the artwork pop and look like a true Riga masterpiece.
Group photo and wrap-up: We celebrate the finished mural with a photoshoot and a reflection on what the team has achieved together. 🏆

Frequently asked questions

What is the recommended age for participating in a youth project?

Our youth projects in Riga are super inclusive! In general, we recommend a minimum age of 10 to ensure participants have the physical strength to handle the spray cans properly. For teenagers and young adults, we tailor the complexity of the designs to match their skill levels. It's a fantastic way for different age groups to collaborate on a single, massive piece of public art while learning from our professional artists.

Do the participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from total beginners who have never touched a spray can to those who might have some artistic flair. Our Riga-based artists guide the group through every step, starting with basic safety and technique before moving on to creative execution. We focus on the process and the fun, ensuring every participant feels proud of what they create together.

Is the spray paint safe for young people to use?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. We use professional-grade spray paints and conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated street art spaces. Our instructors are trained to manage groups safely, ensuring that the only thing participants need to worry about is being creative and having a great time.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop last?

Our typical youth project sessions in Riga last between 1.5 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the creation of a final large-scale mural. If you have specific scheduling needs or want to combine the workshop with other youth activities in the city, we can easily adjust the duration to fit your programme.

What will the participants actually create during the workshop?

Anything and everything! Typically, youth projects focus on a collective mural. This could be based on a specific theme, such as 'Community', 'The Future', or even something inspired by Riga's local history. Participants learn tagging, throw-ups, and piece-building. The best part is seeing individual ideas merge into one giant, colourful masterpiece that reflects the group's collective energy and vision. It's a real confidence booster!

Can you bring the workshop to our specific youth centre or location?

Absolutely! While we love bringing art to the streets of Riga, we can also host workshops at your specific location, whether it's a youth centre, school grounds, or a community club. We use mobile graffiti walls or large canvases to ensure we leave no permanent marks where they aren't wanted. Just let us know your location, and we will bring the entire street art experience directly to your doorstep.

What happens if we need to cancel or if the weather is bad?

We’ve made it simple. There’s no upfront payment required — you only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% happy with the experience. Our Riga team is backed by a network of professional artists, meaning we have 'backup' instructors ready to step in if someone falls ill. This ensures your youth project goes ahead as planned without any stressful last-minute cancellations. Fun and reliability guaranteed!
