What makes the VIP experience different from a standard Calgary graffiti workshop?

Expect an upscale, creative adventure! Unlike a standard class, our VIP graffiti experience in Calgary focuses on high-end materials, one-on-one coaching from a professional artist, and a deeper dive into the history and techniques of street art. You’ll get premium spray cans, better gear, and a relaxed, exclusive atmosphere where you can truly focus on your masterpiece without the rush of a crowded public tour.

Do I need to have any artistic talent or prior experience to join?

Absolutely no experience is required! Our VIP sessions are designed for everyone from total beginners to seasoned creatives. Your professional Calgary street art guide will walk you through every step, from basic nozzle control to advanced layering and shading techniques. We provide a safe, supportive environment where you can experiment, learn, and discover your hidden artistic talents while having an incredible time.

What specific materials are included in the VIP Calgary street art package?

We’ve got you covered from head to toe! The VIP package includes high-quality spray paint in a wide range of colours, professional-grade respirators for your safety, protective coveralls, and gloves. You’ll also get a high-quality canvas or a dedicated wall space to work on, depending on the venue. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting dusty!

Is there an age limit for the VIP graffiti experience in Calgary?

While we usually suggest ages 12 and up for the technical aspect of using spray cans, we can tailor the VIP experience for younger enthusiasts if needed. It’s a fantastic family activity or a unique gift for a creative teen. Our Calgary artists are great at adapting their teaching style to match the age and skill level of the group, ensuring everyone stays safe and has a blast.

How long does the VIP workshop last and where does it take place?

The VIP Calgary experience typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This allows plenty of time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final piece without feeling rushed. We believe in quality over quantity, giving you the space to refine your tags and throws while enjoying the exclusive vibe of our curated street art locations or private studio setups.

What happens if I need to cancel or if there is an issue with the booking?

We are committed to being Calgary's most reliable street art provider. We have a roster of backup artists to ensure your VIP experience never gets cancelled. Additionally, we don't require upfront payments—you only pay after the workshop is complete. If you aren't 100% satisfied with the fun and creative energy of your session, we’ll work tirelessly to make it right. Fun is guaranteed!

Can we book this as a group, and is it indoor or outdoor?

Calgary can be unpredictable! Depending on the season and your preference, we host workshops at vibrant outdoor legal wall locations or in comfortable, ventilated indoor studios. If the weather doesn't cooperate for an outdoor session, we have the flexibility to move your VIP event to a sheltered or indoor space so the creative juices can keep flowing regardless of the 'Cowtown' clouds.

Gear up in style: Suit up with premium protective gear—we provide everything to keep your Calgary fashion fresh while you paint.
Master the nozzle: Get hands-on training with various spray tips (caps) to understand line thickness, pressure, and flow.
Sketch your vision: Work one-on-one with your mentor to sketch out your tag or masterpiece on a high-quality surface.
The first layer: Start with the "fill-in," learning how to apply smooth, even coats of vibrant colour like a pro.
Outline and detail: Experience the thrill of "cutting" lines and adding those sharp professional details that make your art pop.
Final flourishes: Add highlights, shadows, and your personal signature to complete your unique Calgary street art piece.

Local culture

Calgary is way more than just cowboys and oil—it's a hidden powerhouse of Canadian street art! Since the launch of the BUMP (Beltline Urban Murals Project), the city has been transformed into a massive outdoor gallery. Our VIP graffiti workshop experience in Calgary taps into this energy, often taking place near the iconic murals that have put "Cowtown" on the international street art map.

Fun fact: Calgary is home to one of the world's tallest murals! The "The Highrise" project features a staggering 30-story piece of art that towers over the downtown core, showcasing the city's massive ambition for large-scale creative expression.

When you join us, you’re not just painting on a wall; you’re engaging with a local culture that values boldness and innovation. We celebrate the local legends and the fresh talent that make the Calgary streets buzz with life. ✨
