How far in advance should I book a live painting session?

Booking a live painting performance in Calgary is super easy! Simply reach out via our contact form or cost calculator to check availability. We recommend booking at least 3-4 weeks in advance, especially during the busy summer festival season or for December corporate holiday parties. However, thanks to our large network of backup artists, we can often accommodate last-minute requests if you're in a pinch!

Do I need to provide any supplies or equipment?

Not at all! We provide everything needed for a clean and professional setup. This includes high-quality spray paint, protective floor coverings, localized ventilation if needed, and all canvas or wall materials. We take pride in leaving your venue exactly as we found it—except for the beautiful new piece of art we've created for you! Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities.

Can we choose the theme or design of the painting?

That is entirely up to you! Our Calgary artists can work with your specific branding, color palettes, and themes, or you can give them full creative freedom to freestyle something unique. Many clients love seeing their company logo or event theme integrated into the street art style. We'll discuss all the creative details with you during the planning phase to ensure a perfect match.

Is it possible for guests to participate in the painting?

Absolutely! While we offer live painting as a performance, we love getting the crowd involved. We can set up a "collaborative zone" where your guests can grab a can and add a few strokes under the guidance of our pros. It’s a fantastic way to break the ice and make the event even more memorable for your Calgary guests.

What happens if it rains during an outdoor event?

We are prepared for the unpredictable Calgary weather! For outdoor events, we usually require a tent or some form of overhead cover to protect the artwork and the artist from rain or intense direct sun. If the weather gets truly "Stampede-level" wild, we can usually pivot to an indoor setup or reschedule. Our backup artist policy also ensures that the show goes on no matter what!

How long does a typical live painting performance take?

Most live painting performances last between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the scale of the piece and the flow of your event. We can time the "big reveal" to coincide with your keynote speech, product launch, or the peak of your party. If you need a massive mural that takes multiple days, we can definitely scale up to meet your needs!
