Can you perform live painting indoors at an Ottawa venue?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, low-odour water-based spray paints and specialized markers for indoor Ottawa events. We also bring floor protection, ventilation fans if needed, and masking materials to ensure the only thing that gets painted is the canvas. Your venue’s safety and cleanliness are our top priorities while bringing that edgy street art vibe inside.

How long does a live painting performance usually last?

For a standard live painting activation in Ottawa, we usually recommend between 2 to 4 hours. This gives the artist enough time to build up layers, add intricate details, and allow your guests to see the transformation from a blank surface to a finished masterpiece. We can adjust the pace based on your event's specific schedule and flow.

What kind of surfaces can the artists paint on?

The options are endless! We can paint on traditional large-scale canvases, reclaimed wood, custom-built walls, or even items like sneakers, skateboards, or a vehicle. If you have a specific theme or surface in mind that reflects your brand or event vibe, just let us know and we’ll make it happen with our signature flair.

Do I need to pay the full amount upfront?

While we don't require you to pay everything upfront, we do ask for a small deposit to secure your date and artist in our Ottawa calendar. The remaining balance isn't due until after the workshop or performance is completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the creative energy we bring to your event before the final payment.

Do we get to choose what the artist paints?

Not at all! You can give our artists full creative freedom, or we can work closely with your team to incorporate specific logos, brand colours, or themes. Many clients in Ottawa love seeing their corporate identity reimagined through a "street art lens." We’ll provide a digital sketch or mood board beforehand so there are no surprises on the big day.

What happens if the artist is unable to make it?

We’ve got you covered. Graffitifun works with a deep roster of professional artists across Ontario and Quebec. This means we always have backup artists on standby. If your assigned artist has an emergency, we’ll dispatch another talented pro to ensure your Ottawa event goes off without a hitch. Reliability is a core part of our service.

Do we get to keep the finished artwork?

Yes! After the event, the artwork is yours to keep. It makes for an incredible office mural, a unique prize for a giveaway, or a lasting memory of a special celebration. We’ll help you coordinate the logistics of moving the piece once the paint is dry, ensuring your brand-new Ottawa street art finds its perfect home.
