Will our clothes get ruined during the graffiti workshop?

Absolutely! We provide high-quality coveralls, gloves, and masks to keep everyone clean. While our gear is top-notch, we always suggest wearing 'art-friendly' clothes and shoes just in case you get a little too enthusiastic with the spray can. Your safety and comfort are our priorities, allowing you to focus entirely on the creative process without worrying about your outfit.

How long does a typical team building session last?

Most of our Ottawa team building sessions last between 2 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for introductions, a crash course in spray paint techniques, and the creation of your masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit your corporate schedule, whether you need a quick icebreaker or an intensive half-day deep dive into street art culture.

Do we need any prior artistic experience to participate?

No way! Most of our participants have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert instructors who break down complex techniques into simple, fun steps. You'll be amazed at how quickly your team goes from 'zero' to 'street art hero.' It’s all about discovery, collaboration, and having a blast while learning a new skill together.

Where in Ottawa do these workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible. We can host your group at one of our partner creative spaces in Ottawa, or we can bring the entire mobile studio to your office parking lot or a local park. If you have a specific venue in mind, just let us know and we will handle the logistical setup to ensure a seamless and safe experience for everyone.

What is the maximum group size you can handle?

We specialize in large groups! Whether you are a small startup team of 10 or a major federal department with 200+ employees, we have the staff and materials to accommodate you. For very large groups, we often set up multiple 'stations' or work on a massive collaborative mural that everyone contributes to, ensuring high engagement across the board.

What happens if the weather is bad or an artist gets sick?

We’ve got you covered! We have backup artists on standby for every event to ensure your workshop goes off without a hitch. Additionally, we have indoor venue options and pop-up tents for outdoor sessions to keep the creative energy flowing regardless of the Canadian weather. We pride ourselves on reliability and never cancelling on our clients.

How does the payment process work?

We make the booking process totally stress-free. There is no upfront payment required to secure your date. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. We accept various payment methods and provide clear, transparent invoicing for your corporate accounting team. Reach out today for a custom quote based on your needs!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your team building in Ottawa? Because it breaks down hierarchies and gets people talking in a way a PowerPoint never could. Here is why it works:

Unleash hidden talent: You’ll be surprised who in HR is actually a secret mural maestro! 🎨
Genuine collaboration: Working on a shared canvas requires real-time communication and shared vision.
Stress relief: There is nothing more satisfying than the 'hiss' of a spray can to melt away office stress. ✨
Lasting memories: Unlike a standard lunch, your team will be talking about this experience for months (and you get to keep the art!).
Zero barriers: You don't need to be "artistic"—our pros ensure everyone creates something they’re proud of. 💪
Professional & reliable: We have backup artists and a "fun guaranteed" policy so your event is risk-free.

Step by step

The warm-up: Meet your pro artist and get briefed on the history of Ottawa's street art scene.
Gear up: Every team member gets equipped with protective suits, gloves, and masks.
Can control: Learn the basics of 'can control,' including lines, dots, and fading techniques.
Concept design: Sketch out your team's vision on paper, focusing on your corporate values or a fun theme.
Filling & outlines: Start hitting the canvas! Learn how to fill in large areas and create sharp outlines.
Details & highlights: Add those final 'pops' of colour and 3D effects that make graffiti stand out.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the collaborative mural your team has built from scratch.
Photo op: Capture the moment with group photos in front of your custom street art masterpiece.

Local culture

Ottawa might be known for its historic architecture and political buzz, but the city’s underground art scene is absolutely thriving. From the legal graffiti walls at Tech Wall (Slater and Bronson) to the vibrant murals in the Glebe and Hintonburg, the "613" has a deep appreciation for urban expression. We celebrate this local culture by bringing that same raw, creative energy to your corporate event.

Fun fact: Did you know Ottawa is home to several legal 'free walls' where artists can sharpen their skills? It’s part of the city's commitment to supporting public art and reducing illegal tagging—a philosophy of 'creative outlets' that we bring into every workshop! 🇨🇦
