What kind of protective gear do you provide for my team?

To ensure every team member has a safe and enjoyable time, we provide premium protective gear. This includes high-quality masks/respirators to filter out fumes, disposable gloves to keep your hands clean, and full-body protective suits or ponchos to shield your clothing. While we provide these layers, we still recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you wouldn't mind getting a tiny splash of paint on, just in case!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for all employees?

Absolutely! We take safety very seriously. We use professional spray paint and high-grade safety equipment. Our artist-instructors are highly experienced in managing corporate groups and will provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We can host workshops in well-ventilated indoor spaces or outdoor locations across Hamilton to ensure a comfortable environment for everyone involved. 🎨

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! In fact, most of our team building participants in Hamilton have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists are masters at breaking down the process into simple, manageable steps. We start with basic techniques and move on to more advanced tricks. By the end of the session, even the most 'un-artistic' person in your office will be amazed at what they've helped create.

How long does a typical Hamilton team building session last?

Our team building workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This timeframe allows your team to get comfortable with the tools, practice their techniques, and complete a final collaborative masterpiece. If you have specific scheduling needs or want to combine the workshop with a lunch break or another meeting, we are happy to adjust the timing to fit your Hamilton event perfectly. ✨

Can you host the workshop at our office location?

We are highly flexible! We can bring the workshop to your office parking lot, a local park, or a rented studio space in Hamilton. If you don't have a spot in mind, let us know! We have experience working with various venues across the city and can help suggest the perfect backdrop for your team's creative explosion. We handle the setup and cleanup, so you don't have to worry about a thing.

What happens to the artwork after the workshop?

The final product is entirely up to you! Teams often choose to work on individual canvases that they can take home, or they collaborate on one massive "masterpiece" mural on a large wooden board or canvas. These collaborative pieces are perfect for hanging in your Hamilton office as a permanent reminder of your team's creativity and hard work. It's a great way to liven up the workspace! 🏆

The experience

Unleash hidden talent: Watch your quietest accountant turn into a street art prodigy! It’s a level playing field where everyone can shine. ✨
Collaboration over competition: While we love a bit of friendly rivalry, our workshops focus on creating one unified vision together.
Stress-free planning: We handle everything—from the paint and gear to the site setup and cleanup. You just show up and have fun.
No-risk booking: With no upfront payment and a team of backup artists, your Hamilton event is guaranteed to happen rain or shine.
Tangible results: You don't just leave with memories; you leave with a massive, hand-painted mural to display in your Hamilton office. 🏆
Total inclusivity: Street art is for everyone! We adapt our workshops for all ages and physical abilities.

Step by step

The warm-up: We start with a high-energy intro where your team meets our pro artists and learns about the history of street art.
Safety first: Everyone gets geared up in suits, masks, and gloves while we cover the essential "do's and don'ts" of spray painting.
Mastering the can: We head to the practice wall where you'll learn "can control"—dots, lines, and fades—to get comfortable with the medium.
Tagging 101: Your team practices their "tags" or signatures, finding their unique style and flow.
The big concept: We help your group brainstorm a theme or word that represents your company values or team goals.
Sketching it out: The artists help you map out the design on the final canvas or mural board.
Filling and detailing: This is where the magic happens! The team works together to fill in colors, add highlights, and create 3D effects.
The final reveal: We step back, peel away any tape, and admire the finished masterpiece while taking plenty of group photos.
Clean up: We handle the entire breakdown and cleanup process, leaving your Hamilton venue exactly as we found it.

Local culture

Hamilton—or 'The Hammer'—has evolved into a stunning canvas for street art in recent years. Moving beyond its industrial roots, the city is now home to incredible murals that line James Street North and the alleys of Westdale. Our workshops tap into this gritty, artistic Hamilton spirit, letting your team contribute to the local culture of creativity. Whether we’re drawing inspiration from the historic architecture or the lush greenery of the Escarpment, your team will feel right at home in Hamilton's burgeoning arts scene.

Fun fact: Hamilton is home to the "Concrete Canvas" festival, which has transformed naked walls across the city into world-class art galleries. We bring that same festival energy right to your team! 🎨
