Can the artist keep the final design a surprise until the end?

Absolutely! One of the coolest parts of a live painting performance in Vancouver is seeing the 'reveal.' Our artists can start with a mysterious base and slowly build the image so your guests are kept guessing until the final masterpiece is unveiled. It adds a layer of theatricality and suspense that keeps people engaged throughout your entire event schedule.

How long does a live painting performance usually take?

Usually, a standard live painting session lasts between 2 to 4 hours, but we’re flexible! If you’re hosting a multi-day festival at Jack Poole Plaza or a quick 90-minute brand launch in Gastown, we can scale the complexity of the art to fit your timeline perfectly. We work with you during the planning phase to ensure the 'big finish' happens right at the peak of your event.

Is it safe to have spray painting happening indoors?

Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities. We use low-odor, professional-grade spray paint or acrylic markers depending on the venue's ventilation. We also provide full floor and wall protection (drop cloths and masking) to ensure the only thing getting painted is the canvas. Whether you're in a high-end hotel ballroom or a modern art gallery, we leave the space exactly as we found it.

What happens to the painting once the event is over?

Yes, the artwork is yours to keep! After the event, the canvas is dry and ready to be displayed in your office lobby, auctioned off for charity, or given to a lucky guest. It serves as a lasting tangible memory of a' great night. Many Vancouver businesses use the finished piece as a permanent mural in their workspace to keep that creative energy flowing year-round.

Can we request specific themes or company colors?

While our artists are the masters of the craft, we love incorporating your brand! You can provide us with specific color palettes, logos, or themes you’d like highlighted. Our artists will then blend their signature style with your requirements to create a custom piece that feels authentic to your brand while still looking like a high-end work of street art.

What kind of setup space do you need at the venue?

We typically require a flat area of at least 3x3 meters to set up the canvas and materials safely. Access to a power outlet is helpful for lighting, though not always necessary. We bring everything else, including the easel, canvases, paints, and protective gear. Our goal is to be as 'plug-and-play' as possible so you can focus on enjoying your event while we create the magic.
