How long does a typical kids graffiti workshop last?

Most graffiti birthday parties in Liverpool last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning the ropes, practice time, and completing a final masterpiece. We find this timeframe keeps energy levels high and children fully engaged without getting tired. If you have a larger group or specific requirements, we can adjust the timing to suit your party schedule perfectly.

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks for every child. Our spray paints are low-odour and we always conduct our Liverpool workshops in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Our professional artists are expert instructors who supervise the children closely, ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly while having the time of their lives in a secure environment.

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

We recommend our graffiti parties for children aged 6 and up. At this age, kids have the motor skills to handle the spray cans and the focus to follow the artist's guidance. For teenagers, we ramp up the technical side of the workshop to keep it challenging and cool. No matter the age, we tailor our teaching style to match the group's ability and energy.

Do I need to provide the location in Liverpool?

Don't worry about a thing! We have access to several great spots across Liverpool, or we can come to your garden or a private venue you've hired. If you're stuck for a location, just let us know. We’re experts at finding the perfect "legal wall" or creative space in the city to host your crew's artistic takeover!

Do the children need any previous art experience?

Absolutely not! Our workshops are designed for complete beginners. Our professional Liverpool graffiti artists take everyone through the process step-by-step, from holding the can to creating cool effects like drips and fades. Most kids are amazed at what they can create in just one session. It’s all about building confidence and having a blast with their friends.

What happens if it rains on the day of the party?

We always plan for the British weather! If you've booked an outdoor session and the Liverpool clouds decide to open up, we can often move to a covered outdoor area or an indoor space with proper ventilation. Alternatively, we can reschedule the party or pivot to a different artistic format. We have backup plans and backup artists ready to ensure the party goes ahead rain or shine.

What should the kids wear to the workshop?

We suggest wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little messy. While we provide full protective gear including overalls, sometimes a little 'creative splash' can happen. Old trainers are better than brand-new ones! We’ll take care of the rest—the paint, the boards, the masks, and the gloves are all included in your Liverpool party package.

Local culture

Liverpool has a soul made of music and art, and it's visible on every corner. From the iconic murals of Liverpool FC legends in Anfield to the creative explosion of the Baltic Triangle, our city is a massive canvas. We bring that same Scouse creative spirit to every birthday party we host. We don't just teach kids how to paint; we connect them to the vibrant street art culture that makes the city of Liverpool so unique. 🎨

Fun fact: Liverpool is home to some of the most famous street art in the UK, including works by Banksy and stunning tributes to The Beatles. Our workshops inspired by this local talent help kids feel like part of Liverpool's living art history! ✨
