How long does a live painting session usually last?

A live painting performance in Kuopio typically lasts between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the scale of the artwork and your event schedule. We can coordinate the timing to peak during your keynote speech or cocktail hour. If you have a multi-day festival at Kuopio Ice Hall or a weekend event, we can also arrange for a larger piece that evolves over several days for maximum impact.

Is it safe to have live painting indoors at my venue?

Safety is our top priority! We use high-quality, low-odour professional spray paint and professional-grade ventilation or floor coverings where necessary. If your event is indoors at a venue like the Kuopio Music Centre, we can also use water-based acrylic markers or odourless paint pens to ensure a comfortable environment for all your guests while still delivering that iconic street art aesthetic.

Do we get to keep the artwork after the event?

Absolutely! One of the coolest things about our live painting in Kuopio is that you can keep the finished masterpiece. Whether it's a large wooden panel or a stretched canvas, the artwork becomes yours to display in your office, give away as a grand prize, or even auction off for charity. It’s a permanent memory of a fantastic event!

Do I need to provide any materials for the artist?

Not at all. Our professional artists arrive with everything they need to create magic. We bring the canvases or panels, the full spectrum of spray cans, protective floor coverings, and any necessary lighting. All we need from you is a designated space (roughly 3x3 metres) and an enthusiastic crowd ready to be amazed by the creative process.

What kind of events is live painting best suited for?

Live painting is incredibly versatile! It works wonders for corporate brand activations, music festivals, sleek store openings, and even large-scale private celebrations. In a city like Kuopio, where the mix of nature and urban culture is so strong, a live street art performance provides a unique 'wow' factor that traditional entertainment simply can't match. It’s the perfect conversation starter!

Can we request a specific theme or logo for the artist to paint?

We love collaborating! Before the event, we’ll discuss your brand colours, themes, or specific logos you want featured. While the artist brings their own creative flair to the performance, the final piece will feel perfectly aligned with your event's identity. We make sure the art tells your specific story while keeping that authentic, edgy graffiti vibe that guests love.

How far in advance should I book an artist for my Kuopio event?

Booking is simple! Since we have a dedicated team of artists and backup creators, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. However, to ensure your preferred date is available—especially during Kuopio's busy summer event season—we recommend reaching out at least 3-4 weeks in advance. The experience

Why settle for a DJ or a standard presentation when you can have a living, breathing work of art created in front of your eyes? Here is why live painting is the "secret sauce" for events in Kuopio:

Magnetic attraction: People naturally gravitate towards the sound and smell of creativity, keeping your guests engaged for hours. 🧲
Uniquely social: It provides a natural talking point, breaking the ice for guests who might not know each other yet. 🎤
Content goldmine: Your social media will explode with photos and time-lapse videos of the artwork evolving throughout the night. 📸
Highly customisable: We can weave your brand’s story, colours, and mission directly into the mural.
Professional & clean: We are pros! We handle everything from floor protection to clean-up, leaving you with zero stress. 🏆
Total peace of mind: With backup artists on standby and years of experience, we guarantee a flawless performance every time.

Step by step

Initial consultation: We chat about your event in Kuopio, the vibe you’re going for, and the dimensions of the artwork you want created.
Design conceptualisation: Our artists sketch out a concept that incorporates your brand colours, logos, or specific themes requested for the performance.
Site preparation: On the day, we arrive early to set up our "creative zone," ensuring floors are protected and the canvas is securely positioned.
The first stroke: As your guests arrive, the artist begins the outline. This initial phase always sparks curiosity and draws a crowd!
Layering and colour: The artwork starts to take shape as vibrant colours and gradients are added. This is the most energetic part of the live show.
Character and detail: The artist adds the fine details, sharp lines, and highlights that make the graffiti pop and look professional.
The big reveal: The final masterpiece is completed, often timed with your event's climax for a high-impact photo opportunity.
Final handover: Once the paint is dry, the artwork is yours to keep, move, or display as a permanent souvenir of your Kuopio event.

Local culture

Kuopio isn't just about the stunning Puijo Tower and delicious kalakukko; it’s a city with a growing appreciation for urban culture and creative expression. While our live painting performances bring a modern edge, they perfectly complement the relaxed and friendly "Savo" spirit of the locals. We’ve seen how the Kuopio crowd lights up when they see the intersection of traditional Finnish hospitality and contemporary street art! 🔥

Fun Fact: Kuopio is known as the "Pearl of Savo," and while the city is famous for its nature, the local street art scene has been quietly flourishing, with murals adding splashes of colour to the urban landscape. Our live painting sessions celebrate this creative evolution right before your eyes!
