Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most of our networking event participants in Edinburgh have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, teaching you how to control the nozzle and manage pressure. By the time you're working on the collaborative piece, you'll feel like a pro. It’s all about the experience and breaking the ice, not about being a gallery-ready artist on day one. Everyone leaves with something they’re proud of!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! Your booking includes high-quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We also provide the canvases or boards for your creation. For networking events in Scotland, we often suggest indoor or covered locations just in case the weather turns, but if we're outside, we've got you covered. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and a stack of business cards!

How long does a creative networking event typically last?

Our standard networking sessions usually run for about 2 to 2.5 hours. This includes a 30-minute intro and technique demonstration, an hour of collaborative painting, and some time at the end for final networking and photos. We can definitely tailor the timing to fit your specific schedule—whether you want a quick 90-minute icebreaker or a full afternoon of creative immersion across Edinburgh's vibrant art scene.

How does a graffiti workshop actually help with networking?

Physical activity is a great way to lower social barriers. Unlike a seminar where you sit and listen, a graffiti workshop requires communication and physical collaboration. You’ll be asking peers for a specific paint colour or working together on a mural layout. This shared 'mission' creates natural conversation starters, making it much easier to form genuine professional connections compared to standing in a room with a lukewarm coffee.

Is the spray paint safe to use indoors?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour spray paints where possible and provide all necessary PPE, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks and nitrile gloves. Our artists are highly experienced in managing groups and ensuring everyone uses the equipment correctly. If your event is indoors, we ensure the venue has professional-grade ventilation. We want your team to have a blast while staying completely safe and comfortable throughout the session.

What happens if it rains during our Edinburgh event?

Edinburgh weather can be unpredictable! For our networking events, we usually recommend indoor venues or outdoor spots with significant overhead cover. If the forecast looks particularly 'Scottish,' we have backup indoor locations ready to go or can bring the workshop to your chosen office or hotel space. We never let a bit of drizzle dampen the creative spirit – the show always goes on!

Can you host the event at our specific office or venue?

Yes, we offer total flexibility. While we have preferred creative spots around the city, we can bring the entire setup to your office car park, a hired gallery space, or a hotel courtyard. As long as we have permission and proper ventilation, our mobile graffiti kit is ready to travel. This makes it super convenient to integrate a creative session into a larger corporate conference or business meeting.

The tag creator: Use our digital tools or paper sketches to brainstorm a personal tag or a business-themed icon before you touch the cans.
Nozzle mastery: Our artists demonstrate different caps and spraying techniques, showing you how to create thin lines, fat fills, and cool fades.
Practice session: Everyone gets their own space on a practice board to get a feel for the pressure and distance needed for the perfect spray.
Collaborative concept: The group moves to a large-scale mural where you’ll work together to map out a design that represents your industry or shared goals.
Layering and detail: This is where the magic happens! Add depth, shadows, and highlights to the mural while chatting with your new connections.
The finishing touches: Our pros help you clean up the edges and add 'pop' to the piece, ensuring a high-quality final result you'll want to share on LinkedIn.

Local culture

Edinburgh is a city of incredible contrasts, where the historic cobblestones of the Royal Mile meet the edgy, modern vibe of the Leith docks. While the city is famous for its festivals and history, the street art scene is quietly booming. From the legal walls at New Street to the hidden gems in the Cowgate, the "Athens of the North" is becoming a canvas for world-class urban art. Hosting your networking event here means tapping into that local grit and grandeur. 🏰

Fun fact: Did you know that the "Edinburgh Festival Fringe" is the world's largest arts festival? It’s only fitting that your next professional gathering happens in a city that breathes creativity every single day. We bring that same Fringe energy to every workshop we host! 🎭
