Do I need any prior art experience to join a pop-up workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Brisbane pop-up workshops are designed for everyone from total beginners to closet creatives. Our professional artists will guide you through the basics of 'can control,' layering, and outlines. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can create something lookin' bloody brilliant with just a few expert pointers and some high-quality paint. We're all about having a crack and enjoying the process!

What materials are included in the pop-up event?

We’ve got you covered! We provide high-quality spray paint in a rainbow of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your threads clean. We also provide the 'canvas'—whether that's a professional board, a communal wall, or individual caps. Just bring your enthusiasm and wear some old kicks you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. We handle all the messy prep and clean-up.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Our pop-up workshops usually run for about 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives us plenty of time for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, some practice runs, and then the main event where you create your masterpiece. It’s the perfect length to get stuck into the art without feeling rushed, leaving you plenty of time to explore the rest of Brisbane's nightlife or cafes afterwards.

Is the spray painting activity safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, high-quality spray paints and provide all necessary PPE, including masks and gloves. Our artists are seasoned pros who supervise the entire session to ensure everyone is using the equipment correctly. Because our pop-ups are often outdoors or in well-ventilated Brisbane spaces, you can breathe easy while you’re busy getting creative with the crew.

What should I wear to the graffiti event?

While we provide protective suits, we always recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you wouldn't mind getting a stray speck of paint on. Avoid your fanciest designer gear! Closed-toe shoes are a must for safety. Since Brisbane weather can be a bit unpredictable, it's a good idea to bring a hat for outdoor sessions or a light jacket if we're painting in a breezy warehouse space.

What happens if it rains on the day of the event?

We pride ourselves on flexibility. If it’s a light drizzle, we usually push on under gazebos or cover. However, if the Brisbane weather turns truly 'un-Australian' with heavy storms, we’ll work with you to reschedule or move to one of our indoor backup locations. We also have a roster of backup artists to ensure your event goes ahead no matter what—fun is guaranteed!

Do I need to pay upfront to book a session?

No worries at all! We don’t require any payment upfront to get your date in the diary. You can book your pop-up event now and settle the payment after the workshop is finished. This way, you can be 100% sure you’re happy with the experience. We're all about transparency and making sure you have the best possible time making art in Brissie.

Local culture

Brisbane’s street art scene has absolutely exploded over the last few years. From the towering murals in South Brisbane to the hidden gems tucked away in West End’s laneways, the city is a living breathing canvas. Our pop-up events tap into this local 'Brissie' vibe, often taking place near iconic spots like the Powerhouse or beneath the shadows of the Story Bridge. We celebrate the unique Queensland light and the laid-back attitude that makes this city so special. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Brisbane hosts its own dedicated Street Art Festival? The city has transformed from a 'big country town' into a global destination for world-class muralists, and our workshops give you a front-row seat to that culture! 🔥
