Is the graffiti workshop safe for secondary school students?

Absolutely. We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every student. Our spray paints are low-odour and compliant with safety standards. Furthermore, our professional instructors in Krasnoyarsk are trained to manage large groups of teenagers, ensuring they follow all safety protocols while having the time of their lives.

Do students need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from those who can't draw a stick figure to those who are already sketching in class. We start with the basics of 'tagging' and letter structure, ensuring every student feels confident and capable. By the end of the session, everyone will have contributed to a piece they can be proud of.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard secondary school session usually lasts between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This provides enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety induction, practice sessions on plastic film or boards, and the final creation of a large-scale mural. We can adjust the timing to fit your school's timetable or specific event needs.

What are the costs for a school workshop?

Our pricing is flexible and based on the number of students, the location in Krasnoyarsk, and the amount of materials required. Because we want to make art accessible, we offer competitive rates for educational institutions. You can use our online Cost Calculator or contact us for a bespoke quote tailored to your school's budget.

Where in Krasnoyarsk does the workshop take place?

We are extremely flexible! We can bring our mobile setup to your school playground or sports hall using temporary cling-film walls. This means no permanent marks on your school property. Alternatively, we can arrange for the workshop to take place at a local urban spot in Krasnoyarsk if you prefer an off-site excursion for the students.

What do we need to provide as a school?

Graffitifun provides everything! This includes all premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the 'canvas' (whether that's film, boards, or an actual wall). We also bring our own cleaning supplies to ensure the area is left tidy. The students just need to bring their energy and old clothes!

Can the workshop be themed around a specific school project?

Yes, we do. While we encourage students to explore their own creativity, we can certainly incorporate specific school values, themes from the curriculum (like history or social issues), or the school’s own name and mascot. It’s a fantastic way to create a sense of belonging and pride within the student body.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your students in Krasnoyarsk? Because traditional art classes don't always capture the imagination of every teen, but a spray can usually does! Our sessions are designed to break down barriers and get everyone involved. 🔥

Boosts confidence: Seeing a massive piece come to life gives students a huge sense of achievement.
Teamwork in action: You can't build a giant mural alone; students have to communicate and collaborate.
Safe and legal: we teach the difference between vandalism and street art, promoting respect for the city.
Inclusion: Street art is the "great equaliser"—you don't need to be a classic "artist" to be great at it.
Expert guidance: Our Krsk-based artists aren't just talented; they're great mentors who know how to engage with secondary-age kids.
Stress relief: There’s something incredibly therapeutic about the flow of spray painting!

Step by step

Intro and demo: Our pro artists introduce the vibrant world of street art and show off some killer techniques to get the students hyped.
Safety first: Every student gets kitted out in protective gear and learns how to handle the spray cans safely and responsibly.
Sketching the vision: We brainstorm ideas together, choosing a theme or word that represents the class or school spirit.
Mastering the nozzle: Students practice basic lines, dots, and fills on practice surfaces to get a feel for the pressure and flow.
Outline and fill: Time to hit the main surface! Students work together to block in the colours and build the foundation of the mural.
Adding the 'pop': This is where the magic happens—adding shadows, highlights, and those sharp 3D effects that make the art stand out.
The finishing touch: We add sharp outlines and maybe some 'splatter' effects for that authentic street art aesthetic.
Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the masterpiece with a big group photo in front of the art, then we handle all the tidying up!

Good to know

Duration: Usually 1.5 to 3 hours, but we can flex to fit your school's schedule.
Group size: We cater to everything from small art clubs to entire year groups (up to 100+ students with multiple artists).
What’s included: Professional paints, masks, gloves, overalls, and all canvas materials.
Location: We come to you! We set up on your school grounds in Krasnoyarsk or a nearby designated area.
Safety: Full risk assessments provided; our artists are experienced in working with teenagers and prioritise a safe environment.
Weather: If it’s raining, we can work under cover or use indoor-safe techniques if space allows.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Krasnoyarsk isn't just a Siberian industrial hub; it's a city with a massive heart and a rapidly evolving creative pulse. From the stunning views of the Stolby Nature Reserve to the bustling vibes along the Yenisei River, there’s inspiration everywhere you look. The local street art scene has been quietly booming, with more murals popping up in the city centre every year. 🇷🇺

Fun Fact: Did you know that Krasnoyarsk is home to some of the most resilient street artists in Russia? They’ve mastered the art of creating even when the temperatures drop, although we usually suggest our school workshops happen during the warmer months or indoors to keep those fingers nimble!

By bringing a graffiti workshop to your school, you're connecting your students with a global urban movement that is very much alive right here in Krasnoyarsk. It’s about more than just paint; it’s about claiming a space and telling a story in a city that’s constantly reinventing itself.
