Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, low-odour professional spray paint, and we provide all necessary protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. Our instructors are trained to maintain a safe environment, ensuring every participant can focus entirely on their creative expression without any worries. Safety is our top priority next to having a blast!

Are the workshops accessible for wheelchair users?

Our workshops in Rezekne are designed to be fully inclusive. We scout locations with flat surfaces and easy access to ensure wheelchair users can move around comfortably. We also adapt our teaching style to accommodate various learning speeds and physical abilities, making sure everyone can reach the canvas and make their mark with confidence.

How long does a typical session last?

We usually recommend a duration of 1.5 to 2 hours for our special needs programs. This timeframe is perfect for keeping energy levels high and focus sharp without being overwhelming. However, we are totally flexible! If your group needs a slower pace or more frequent breaks, we’ll happily adjust the schedule to suit you.

What is the typical group size for these workshops?

We keep our group sizes small and manageable, typically with one artist for every 10-15 participants. This allows for plenty of one-on-one attention and support. For groups with more complex requirements, we can provide additional staff to ensure everyone gets the guidance they need to create something they are proud of.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

Comfort is key! We suggest wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little 'colourful.' Even though we provide aprons and suits, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto sleeves. It’s best to dress for the weather too, especially if we are working at an outdoor mural site.

Do we need any previous art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are built around the idea that anyone can be an artist. We start with the absolute basics—how to hold the can and make simple lines—and build up from there. The goal isn't perfection; it's about the joy of creation and the sensory experience of using spray cans.

Local culture

Rezekne, known as the heart of Latgale, is a city where tradition meets modern creativity. With the stunning GORS embassy of Latgale nearby, there's an undeniable artistic energy flowing through the streets. We bring that same spirit to our workshops, often drawing inspiration from local Rahov patterns or the beautiful natural landscapes surrounding the city. Our sessions aren't just about painting; they're about connecting with the local culture through a modern, urban lens. 🎨

Fun fact: Did you know Rezekne is built on seven hills? It gives the city a unique perspective, much like the different layers of a great piece of graffiti! 🏰

Pricing

We believe high-quality art experiences should be accessible. Our workshop prices in Rezekne typically range from €18 to €38 per person. This variability depends on the number of participants, the amount of materials required, and whether you'd like us to come to your location or host you at one of our street art spots. Because every special needs group has unique requirements, we prefer to create a bespoke package for you. 💶
