Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Yes, absolutely! Our university workshops in Rezekne are designed for complete beginners. Our professional street artists will guide you through everything from how to hold the spray can to advanced fading techniques. You don't need to be an art student to have a blast – most of our participants have never touched a spray can before they join us.

What is the ideal group size for a university workshop?

For our university sessions in Rezekne, we typically recommend groups of 10 to 100+ students. We have plenty of backup artists and materials to handle large student societies or entire faculty departments. If you have a specific group size in mind, just let us know and we will tailor the artist-to-student ratio to ensure everyone gets hands-on time.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Standard workshops in Rezekne usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This allows enough time for the safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of your masterpiece. If you are planning a larger campus festival or a 'freshers week' event, we can adapt the timing to a drop-in format that lasts the whole afternoon.

Is the spray paint safe to use on campus?

We take safety very seriously. We provide high-quality protective overalls, gloves, and specialised masks to ensure no one inhales fumes or gets paint on their clothes. While we use professional-grade spray paint, we conduct the workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or large indoor spaces with proper airflow to keep everyone safe and comfortable throughout the session.

Where in Rezekne do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible! We can come directly to your university campus in Rezekne if you have a suitable outdoor space. Alternatively, we can arrange a session at a local creative hotspot. We bring all the necessary equipment, including mobile graffiti walls, so we can essentially turn any suitable corner of Rezekne into a temporary street art studio.

How far in advance should our student union book?

Since we don't require upfront payments, you can book your preferred date and time without any financial pressure. We recommend booking at least 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during the busy autumn freshers' period or spring graduation season. However, because we have a large team of backup artists, we can often accommodate last-minute requests if you're planning a spontaneous student social.

Can we create a collaborative mural together?

Definitely. We offer several styles: you can either work on individual canvases to take home to your dorm, or collaborate on a massive 'Unity Wall' that represents your university faculty or society. Many Rezekne student groups choose the collaborative mural because it's a fantastic way to bond and create something that looks amazing in photos for the uni's social media.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next university event in Rezekne? Because sitting in a pub is fine, but creating a 10-foot mural is unforgettable. It’s the perfect mix of teamwork, skill-building, and high-octane fun. Check out why students love us:

Stress Buster: There is nothing more satisfying than the 'hiss' of a spray can to forget about upcoming exams and deadlines. 🚀
Ultimate Social: Forget awkward small talk! Collaborative painting naturally gets people talking, laughing, and working together.
Zero Barrier to Entry: You don't need to be an 'artist'. Our pros make sure everyone creates something they’re proud of. 💪
Epic Social Media Content: Your Instagram feed will thank you. The process and the final result look absolutely stunning. 📸
Total Flexiblity: We handle the setup, the cleanup, and provide all the gear. You just show up and spray!
Reliability: With our backup artist system, your event will never be cancelled. We’re as reliable as a well-referenced thesis. 🏆

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We start with a high-energy intro about the history of street art and show you some epic examples to get your brain buzzing.
Gear up: Safety first! Everyone gets kitted out in protective suits, gloves, and masks so your stylish student outfits stay paint-free.
The basics: Learn the 'can control' – our pros show you how to manage pressure, create thin lines, and fill in large areas without drips.
Sketching your vision: Grab a marker or a light spray can to outline your design on the wall or canvas. Don't worry, we're there to help!
Colour theory: Pick your palette from our massive range of professional spray cans. We'll show you how to blend and fade colours like a pro.
The 'Fill-in': This is where the magic happens. Use your chosen colours to bring your sketch to life with bold strokes and vibrant layers.
Outlining & highlights: Add those crisp black outlines and white highlights that make a piece of graffiti truly pop off the wall.
The final reveal: We step back, peel off any stencils, and admire the collective work of art you've created together.
Photo op: Strike a pose with your work! These are the memories (and Instagram posts) that define your university years in Latgale.

Local culture

Rezekne is known as the "Heart of Latgale," and while it’s famous for the stunning GORS embassy of art and its deep historical roots, there is a pulse of modern, urban energy growing here. The student population at the Rezekne Academy of Technologies keeps the city feeling young and forward-thinking. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, blending the city's rich cultural heritage with the rebellious, colourful spirit of modern graffiti.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Rezekne is built on seven hills? Much like Rome, but with more Latgalian soul! It provides the perfect dramatic backdrop for a creative street art session that overlooks the winding Rezekne River. 🏰

Whether we are setting up near the ruins of the ancient castle or on the modern campus grounds, the mix of old-world charm and new-world art makes Rezekne one of the coolest places in Latvia to pick up a spray can. We love bringing this urban art form to a city that values both its history and its future.
