Do I need any prior graffiti experience to join the training?

Absolutely! No prior experience with a spray can is necessary. Our professional artists are expert educators who specialise in breaking down complex street art techniques into simple, teachable steps. We focus on building your confidence from the ground up, ensuring you leave the session with the skills needed to introduce this vibrant medium to your own students in Rezekne schools or community centres.

What materials are included in the professional development package?

We provide everything you need for a successful session! This includes high-quality, low-pressure spray cans (easier for beginners to control), various nozzles for different effects, protective gloves, masks, and coveralls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide large-scale practice surfaces. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

Is the spray paint safe to use in an educational environment?

Safety is our absolute priority. We use high-quality, professional-grade spray paints and provide all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). Our instructors are well-versed in health and safety protocols for creative environments. During the training, we specifically dedicate a module to teaching you how to manage 'safe spraying' in a classroom setting, ensuring you can replicate the experience safely with your own pupils.

Can these techniques be adapted for small classroom spaces?

The beauty of graffiti is its versatility! Our training covers various formats, from large-scale outdoor mural projects to smaller, manageable indoor canvas sessions. We’ll show you how to adapt street art lessons for limited spaces, short lesson times, and different age groups. Whether you have a dedicated art studio or just a small classroom space, we have strategies to make it work.

Is there a guarantee for the quality of the training?

You bet! We offer a 100% satisfaction focus. Because we have a large team of professional artists and backup experts across the region, we can guarantee your session will go ahead as planned. We are committed to providing an inspiring, high-energy environment where you feel fully supported. If you’re not buzzing with ideas by the end of the day, we haven’t done our job!

How does the booking and payment process work?

Booking is easy and stress-free. You don't need to pay anything upfront; we believe in our service so much that you only pay after the workshop is complete. Simply use our online cost calculator for a quick estimate, or reach out for a custom quote based on your specific staff numbers. We’ll handle all the logistics so you can focus on the art.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti-focused professional development session? Because being a teacher in Rezekne means staying ahead of the curve and finding new ways to engage the youth. Here’s why our training hits differently:

Instant Student Engagement: Graffiti is one of the few art forms that students are naturally curious about—they'll think you're a legend! 🎤
Boost Creative Confidence: Learn to move away from 'perfect' lines and embrace the freedom and scale of spray art.
Practical Skill-Sharing: We don't just teach you how to paint; we teach you how to TEACH it, including safety and setup. 🏆
Team Bonding: There’s nothing like creating a massive mural together to strengthen the bond with your colleagues.
Guaranteed Fun: Forget boring slideshows. This is hands-on, paint-splashed, high-energy learning at its best! ✨
Expert Mentorship: Benefit from years of experience from artists who have worked on festivals and brand activations across Europe.

Step by step

Intro to street culture: We kick things off with a deep dive into the history of graffiti, exploring how it evolved from street tagging to high-end gallery art.
Mastering the tools: You'll get hands-on with different spray cans and 'caps' (nozzles), learning how each one creates unique lines, fades, and textures.
Lettering and flow: Our artists teach you the fundamentals of 'wildstyle' and 'bubble letters,' focusing on proportions and artistic rhythm.
The mural process: Learn how to scale up a small sketch onto a large wall using the 'grid' or 'doodle' method—crucial for school mural projects!
Colour theory in layers: Discover how to blend colours directly on the surface and create depth through highlights and shadows.
Classroom management: We share 'tricks of the trade' on how to organise a group of students, manage paint distribution, and maintain safety.
The final piece: Put your skills to the test by collaborating on a large-scale mural that demonstrates everything you've learned during the day.
Reflective evaluation: We wrap up with a group discussion on how to integrate these new skills into the Latvian national curriculum.

Local culture

Rezekne, the heart of Latgale, has always been a place where tradition meets modernity. From the historic ruins of the Rezekne Castle to the ultra-modern architecture of Zeimuļs, the city is a canvas waiting to be explored. We love how the creative spirit here is evolving, and our graffiti workshops aim to add a splash of contemporary urban flare to this rich heritage. Whether you're inspired by the patterns in traditional Latgalian pottery or the bold lines of modern design, we help you translate that local soul into street art.

Fun Fact: Did you know Rezekne is often called the "city of seven hills," much like Rome? It provides the perfect undulating backdrop for an urban art revolution! 🎨
